Took up running a few years ago to help with high blood pressure and it's been a godsend during these lock-up times to get out for some legitimate exercise. I'm also enjoying all the ladies out in running tights
I try to get in a 10k and a couple of 5k a week if I can. Any other newish or experienced swinging runners? |

I used to run between 5 and 10 miles, 3 times a week, until I broke my ankle while I was out trail running a couple of years ago, and had all sorts of problems afterwards. Still not back into it properly even now, and I miss it so much.
Not only is it great for physical fitness, but it used to do me the power of good mentally. I do a lot of walking now, I love it but its not the same. Hopefully, once the gyms are open again, I can carry on doing short sessions on the treadmill to rehabilitate, and eventually get back out there!

I was advised against running but encouraged to do walking, which I try to do 3 times a week, up to about 6k at a time. There are.more people out taking exercise but I think better views will be more available as the weather gets warmer. |

Same here. I try to run 5k three times a week and 10k at least once a week. I’d been on high blood pressure medicine for the last five years but just got taken off medicine. Very happy. I’m never going to win any races, but I enjoy running and what it’s done for my health. |
