Can't wait for lockdown to be over and get out and about in our Campervan again and hopefully find like minded couples to spend some time with on our travels  |

Acquired our campervan just before lockdown last year. Managed a few trips when things opened up a bit but didn't manage a play unfortunately.
Hopefully get that sorted in the summer, if things improve.

Have a look and research well, i have posted on a a few camping threads. This summer will be very different i fear. I decided to do some work on camper unfortunately a lot of the spares are made in Europe only are prices inflated availability seems to be an issue, care when choosing.
Also the flexibility that you had will not be there. In the UK there no legal stop over places, UK land is owned by someone, after the mess and destruction of beautiful places by a number of people campers/motor home staycation people, where they were once tolerated are less likely to be welcome. Likely to be restricted to Authorised campsites and where landowners offer places for a fee nodoubt. I know where I am they are going to be very hot on unauthorised parking/staying.
So all I can say choose camper/motor home wisely and plan your holidays. The last thing you need is to drive hundreds of miles be constantly being moved on or worse hefty fines. Get permission to stay upfront or book your campsites |

There are some very good pickup conversations going round. Ours is a van conversion we out grew the van business wise and bought an exhibition trailer, repurposed the van as a camper |

"I haven't long had a four berth motorhome and heading to Studland as soon as covid and weather permits  "
I'm from there just be aware as said in couple other posts they are going to be very hot on illegal parking and overnight stays this year. Make sure you book camp site or find a land owner that will allow you to stay else you likely get moved on or maybe a fine. |

We don’t have a motor home but will be starting out on our first ever season caravanning when permitted.

Check out Warner Motorhome Shows across all of England and now one in Scotland. Book for 4 nights camping and be among 500 other units camping at the shows. Even evening entertainment laid on |

"Head room can be limited if you’ve got an over cab king size bed like ours. Think you need a rear lounge layout to have the most fun. We've got a rear fixed bed and works really well x"
We have a bed in the middle.
Probably the biggest bed you will find in a campervan.

We have a lovely wee CL and know that we have had swingers on site. Any campsite is a swingers site as long as folk are subtle and discreet. The rule is play in private and don’t upset the neighbours. Having a camper van or caravan is perfect for meeting folk in new areas, lol!!! Organise meets prior to travelling or simply arrive and browse. |

This thread is extremely interesting, do van conversions count as motorhomes? I have a simple but nice conversion for when I do sub contract work away, would love to think it could have more interesting appeal to like minded people. |

Sites are set to be open as of the 12th....a lot of my retired customers are hitting the roads in the Moho and Caravans...you have to be self contained until mid May when loo blocks etc can open...Have fun |

Look up Warner Motorola Shows all over the country. Usually about £50 for 4 nights camping amongst 5,000 motorhomes at each show with entertainment as well as accessories plus met a few singers on site |

Be aware you don't get caught up in the all singing all dancing vans that have every imaginable extra. It adds cost to the van extras take up a lot of space and very expensive to repair.
Most of the time when your away for wkends even weeks you don't cook much we mainly have takeaways we don't want to be cooking when away relaxing.
Find a van with good living space lots of vans are full of unnecessary extras your left with a silly little square to sit around.
On a lighter note beware vans with garages as the bed is normally ontop of the garage with very little head room to sit up and have cowgirl sex |

Same here we looked at loads and none had the living space we wanted so built my own self contained and off grid. Huge bed 6ft head room solar panels small amount of mains power lots of storage space plenty of room to swing 2 cats |

Just bought a lodge in st audries bay
There is a small but nice place for motorhomes to hook up
Be interesting to get a small gathering
Apparently the site is quite well known for hosting TV weekends so looking forward to finding out more |
