Being new(ish) iv'e just read about the black ring right hand practice...
Purely out of curiosity.. who many of you would approach someone in public with a black ring on the right hand ?? |

Gotta be careful though cos some people would rather not be approached publicly.
This is usually for events that are organised and swingers can seperate from the vanilla to chat more openly and build from there.
Its a relatively new concept but definitely works well for identification purposes in crowds. |

Advertising that your in tne lifestyle to other swingers in a vanilla environment without any suspicion being arisen.

This makes about as much sense as the one where you wear a thumb ring on your left thumb, its meant to signify you're gay.
I've worn one for years and the one place I've seen them most is in Cornwall, im Cornish.
Nothing to do with being gay at all and if it is then like the black ring, they need to put a notice out for all vanilla people to stop wearing them |

A black ring worn on the middle finger of their right hand is a common symbol of the asexual community
according to google..... there is a brief mention of swingers too
never heard anything about black rings before and been on the scene nearly 30 years ...just proves you never know everything |

I first heard of this a few years back when going to Benidorm for a friends birthday (not swingers).
There was an arranged meet of sorts in a specific area in one of the bars and the suggestion was for those involved or interested to wear said black ring.
