Sat here drinking my coffee browsing and i was just wondering how many people on fab i actually know in real life ?
Anyone had any experience finding friends, family or neighbours and if so did you make yourself known to them ? |

Not from here but another site:
Recognised the couple straight away, when they arrived at a party in a club, I was attending. Sat opposite them, almost for an hour. But never had the courage to chat to them. As, I had family members close by.
6 months later, the guy denied he was at the club. When he was asking on the site if anyone had ever seen them and practically called me a liar.
Soon realised, he was full of it, and the chances of ever meeting them, was nil. |

Only person I knew was my best mate when she was on here we both knew we were kn but I wouldn't get in touch with anyone else if I recognised them. Those I know you messages can be so creepy especially when the person won't even say who they are. If I spotted someone I'd probably just block them. If I met them at a club I'd acknowledge them but wouldn't approach unless they let me know they'd be ok with that. |

I’ve only come across one person I know in real life. Not friends but colleagues. We never mention it when we bump into each other but sometimes we talk about or ex place of work on here.
Someone messaged me after I sent a face pic saying they had seen me at a recent work event. It was genuine as they were specific about the event. |

I came across a cousin on here.
No I didn't make myself known, I blocked him. I know he's in a monogamous relationship with a young child- and I am friendly with his girlfriend - so it's awkward to say the least. |
