I'm not looking for lovers, I might look for a relationship with another female, but with men I wouldn't go any further than long term FWB with guys I like hanging out with, not dating. And I agree with the poster above, NSA one night stands keeps things very simple!  xx |

I guess it would depend on your definition of 'lover'?
I wouldn't say it was a natural progression, but as someone who has been the 'extra' for several couples for 8 and 3 years respectively, I was never a lover. Initially playing mfm, it progressed to what would now be called hot wife. We would just meet for sex, sometimes weekly, sometimes more. Whether indoors or out. We never went out on 'dates' or publicly other than quiet discrete car park/woodland. Possibly that would venture into cuckolding.
I guess it's what works for all of those involved and if the dynamic works for all of you.

Each to thier own some do some dont. I prefer to build sexually loving relationships but not be in love, as in an emotionally binding relationship. We, the person I'm with and me, have found the sex to be much better and more satisfying for all parties. Thier husband has said that they can feel secure that I'm looking after thier wife and know its not going to go any further. |

Actually seen some one in this situation leave her Husband for the guy. It takes a certain kind of woman to do this without getting Emotionally invloved I know I couldn’t be that woman, so if your thinking about it prepare or at least leave yourself open to the worst |

You mean a regular guy ,who would meet her anytime without any worrying ?
I get your fantasy that your wife should have a lover but you both need to have tons of trust first .
Also it takes long time to find a suitable single guy without any baggage to commit regular time .
Most singles don't commit here. |

After hunting for three long years ,we managed to find a respectful gent who we can trust . Genuine single guy and he understands that its strictly NSA .
For me, I love to know about her sexcapades with him on her solo meets, he it coffee, drinks, outdoor walks or hotel meets . ( pre Covid)
Her adventures with him as indeed improved our already amazing sex life .

I don’t think there is such a thing as ‘normal’ on here, as everyone and every situation is so different.
It’s more about, are you happy, is she happy, is everyone consenting.
The most important thing would be open and honest communication for me. |

My wife really enjoys sex with one of the guys we meet so she’s allowed to see him when ever he is in our area , she doesn’t see him as a lover just as someone she feels really comfortable she enjoys sex with other guys , just this one ticks all the boxes every time , plus I can trust him 100% even had some all nighters . Interesting topic and one I have no experience of, so I've just opened a bag of popcorn and will enjoy the ride.
However, I did have a thought without wanting to distract from the main thrust of the thread...
We've heard from some men about the wife having a lover, but what about where the husband's 'extra' (but consensual of course) antics develop in that way? Does that happen often? Any women with experience of this and how did you feel about it?

Interesting broad range of responses and judgements. I'm not an expert but have experience. And the beauty of this is that everyone is different, and there is something for everyone...and sometimes things evolve.
If it works for you both, then why not. But I don't think there is a path to follow for anyone particularly. |

As a single male on here playing with couples is a massive turn on. But OP, do you mean a lover in addition to the couple or in place of the couple. There are some incredibly hot couples on here but I'm not here to wreck homes just play in them from time to time. I was in a non fab relationship when a guy of fab started messaging the girl to tell her I had been swinging just to get me out the way. That kind of poo just doesn't sit well with me. |

I think a lover is more reliable than random guys especially on fabs. That's why some prefer a regular lover. Plus one off meets are always hit and miss. If you find someone you sexually connect with its great. The only thing is just don't fall in love with them. |

You see quite a few threads and profiles on here where couples are looking for a regular guy, so maybe for them it is natural progress. I guess it may also depend on what 'lover' means. Is it the same as fwb and fuck buddy, or is there actually love involved, which of course changes things somewhat. |

Me too. They deleted their couples profile then she reached out to me privately. Funnily enough, somehow my social media linked us as suggested friends and she’s married to another guy now! I can’t deal with that drama - I’m very upfront and straight to the point that I’m very interested in something regular with trust and respect but a relationship isn’t it. |

Agree. If feelings get involved and the hubby gets fucked off and leaves it could all go tipside. As the old saying goes "you never know what you had until you lost it" big risk with regular single lovers is you both catch feelings and then everything gets messed up and others get hurt. We would never risk it so if we ever go the single guy/fem route it will be one off's for us and not regular. |
