When someone's profile addresses themselves in the 3rd party and you message back in the 3rd party and they get upset and block you. Whose in the right and whom's in the wrong??

Did you intentionally or deliberately respond in the 3rd person/party?

If so,then you,you were obviously mocking.

I just find it strange when anyone refers to themselves in third person.

Maybe your use of the English language wasn’t the issue, perhaps it was what you said.

Why do you think they we're mocking them?

Prehaps OP could have thought it would have shown they had read the profile and were on the same wavelength??

Daddy rested his chin on his fist frowning as he thought this over. After a few seconds of deliberation he rasied to his feet and declared

"Writing a profile in the 3rd person is really odd"

What makes you think that grammar is the reason they blocked you?

Cindi sometimes talks in the third person, when appropriate.

She thinks it's funny at times, when in reality it probably makes her looks daft.

Accidentally put a "the" in front of their name, making it impersonal a small mistake but wasn't given the opportunity to correct but no issues. Should always read the message back before sending

Quite regular on here, many see it as a second life therefore referring to their profile as a third party.

Grammar has nothing to do with this.

In all fairness why would it matter?

Did they actually say that was the reason though?

I have binned people who have sent copy and paste messages addressing me as "hey you guys" or similar- C&P message intended for couples. Or messages saying what amazing pics I have.
