Some time ago (pre pandemic) hubby and I visited Sophisticats in London. I was surprised that we found ourselves quickly bored; the concept of looking but not touching feeling a tad odd for swingers.

For your experience or in general?
I think sex is more freely available and people more promiscuous today, and meeting people is way easier with the internet meaning the bit of titillation you used to get at the strip club isn't needed or the thrill it might have been.
I've not been in one for years, I do love some good pole work, rather watch that than a lapdance. |

Yeh the lap dance scene was pretty dead, pub and stag do strippers seem out of date.
Male strippers seemed quite popular.
I personally love burlesque nights and clubs, get some nice curvy lasses and I find it more erotic, plus the costumes are crazy cool.

Over the years (and before I discovered swinging) I was dragged to a few by mates - stag dos etc. I always found them boring and seedy. The girls are only wanting your money and you can't touch so what is the point? I preferred the Amsterdam live sec shows which weren't necessarily erotic but they weren't seedy either - they were a bit tongue in cheek which made it more relaxed.
Personally I'd prefer a nightclub to a strip club as at least you have chance of something more and I'm always going to have more fun if I'm on the podium  |

Last strip/lap dancing club I went to, when one of the girls came over I said that I swung and the whole lap dance with no interaction felt strange. We ended up chatting for ages and had a great laugh, when her co-workers came over, she told them and I chatted with them (a couple swing themselves). I think I got more attention than the rest of the stag party who were throwing money at them all night. |

I’ve only been to one, it was in Milton Keynes. It was great for the experience, they had some fantastically hot girls in there, who were really chatty, and one even let me feel her boobs as she was so proud of her recent ‘enhancement’ (she kept an eye on the bouncers and told me to have a feel when she said “go” lol).
