Cropped up in conversation the other day. How would you all deal with it if a meet turned up and had pungent breath capable of peeling prawns?
Would you tell them they stink and to mouthwash immediately, just get the hell out of there or just bend them over and do them from behind? |

If the personal hygiene is so lacking with clothes on he's never going to get the chance to take them off near me!
I have even turned some smokers down cos they stank of stale smoke. Oddly enough, not all smokers smell like that so it must be due to poor hygiene techniques. |

I always keep air lite mouth spray on my bedside cabinet and some mints, so if a man had realy bad breath i would offer him a mint.
I did have a man visit me a few years ago who had realy bad breath.
It was the worst ever, i didnt say anything because i didnt want to hurt his feelings though.
Apart from that though he was clean and tidy.
There is lots of reasons for bad breath though sometimes brushing your teeth isnt enough.
you need to see a good dentist regulaly.
If nobody told you that you had bad breath though, you wouldnt know.
Its ok if you tell them in a nice way. |

It's a tricky one
When I have had it, I have just walked away if the situation allowed it or (if not) I've just generally avoided being in close facial contact with the other person.
There are various reasons for it and it's not just rotten teeth that cause it.
Other than making sure I am not smelly down below, it is my number one pre-occupation in preparing for a meet.
Brush teeth and then have a corsodyl or oraldene chaser. I try and avoid coffee on meets if possible and always carry sugar free gum with me too.
Some people either don't realise they have a problem or do know and ignore it - that is where it becomes a sensitive issue, knowing which category they fit into.

"In hindsight, my third option of simply bending them over is not infallible either as they could have a sweaty unclean crack "
that's why you should always pack a flannel |

Haha, you sly old dog! In fact why don't you go one further and bend down to fasten your shoelace immediately afterwards so that you can grab a quick whiff of their crotch? |

Bad breath isnt always teeth can be affected by food or upset tummy.
It would put me off immediately as does smelling of smoke. Brush tongue as well as teeth use an electric tooth brush some bleeding is caused by scrubbing which is not good, or too firm toothbrush. See a hygenist regularly they will help with gum health. |

Ive never had bad breath from poor dental hygiene but I have had garlic smelling breath, and that makes me heave. I cannot play with anyone who smells of garlic. The time I smelt it on a guy I just shook my head and turned away. If he had asked me why I would have told him about the garlic.
why people think eating this before going to a swinging club or a meet is a good idea I cannot fathom |

bad smells are a warning of nature in most cases. Usually caused by breeding bacteria.
I have to say I am very conscious of bad bread on regulars but mostly don't play around then in any case, but there are always mouth sprays, mouthwashes and mints?????????? |

That's it, from now on im using both those methods!! lol
I had one meet who had bad breath, luckily we met for a drink in a pub first, so i made my excuses and left!
maybe I should have told him, but couldn't be arsed with the hassle of giving bad news!! |
