I have to use it unfortunately, and I would say that it's best to only use it when you have to. There are common side effects such as a stuffy nose, headaches and an odd feeling in the stomach . It also diminishes the feeling of orgasm. You also have to be very very careful to avoid any nitrite containing drugs as in combination these can be fatal, and any drinks containing grapefruit juice as this increases the absorption of the drug. If you have to use it, it's very good, if you don't then avoid. |

You should look at Cialis ( different family to viagra), but there are now competitive brands and much cheaper now that Cialis is off patent.
Have not taken viagra but understand the Cialis family is a lot gentler and longer lasting.
I may be corrected but what have been led to believe. |

I was also told by my cardiac nurse that a Viagara could be taken if I needed to use a GTN spray and didn't have one available.

Taking them recreationally is a risky game - any unknown underlying issues could be impacted by them - at the very least get them from a reputable pharmacy who will cover the basic health checks before allowing their purchase, but better still see a GP and get properly checked. |

The active ingredient in viagra and the generic versions is sildenafil. Go to the manufacturers sites and read the information there. It is not a recreational drug.

I've had them before. A word of warning is to stay hydrated, because my first use caused me to black out at the club briefly, which is not a good example to make. I was literally sitting at the bar, then I was kneeling on the floor with no recollection of how (apparently it was about 4 seconds). If I use them now, I drink about 2 pints of water and take a couple of paracetamol at the same time for the headache (not ibuprofen though, that's anti inflammatory lol).

I have no problems but used them in clubs as it halved my recovery time and mentally I felt more confident.
As said not for regular use and the headaches they gave me could be bad, so staying hydrated was important.
I did always feel 'bigger' and more engorged down there but a cock ring would have the same effect. |

I listen to a medical podcast and according to that if you take Viagra it can make it harder to get a natural erection as the Viagra causes damage to those little tendons. I'd chat with your doctor or pharmacist about it, pharmacist is probay easier atm |

There's a raft of things that people need to understand before taking any sort of drug (particularly for recreational purposes).
I'm not going to waste time writing out a list but the headlines (with a couple of examples for each) are:
1. Is it genuine Viagra (Sildenafil) prescribed by a doctor and issued by a pharmacy? If it's not and was purchased off a 'mate' or from a website in an unknown country then there may be little or no genuine Sildenafil in the tablets; fake Viagra is big business )it's the most commonly countefeited drug) and tablets have been found to contain anything from Warfarin (blood thinner), amphetamines, printer ink to provide the colour, plaster of Paris as a filler/binder and Metronidazole (an antibiotic that doesn't mix at all well with alcohol).
2. Indications for use
Erectile dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension.
3. Contraindications:
Nitrates (for heart disease / blood pressure control) Caution with congenital penile abnormalities
4. Interactions with other drugs / medications
Ketoconazole (anti-fungal), erythromycin (antibiotic), can*abis
5. Side effects
Common - headache, visual disturbance
Less common - priapism (prolonged painful penile swelling, actually, a medical emergency)
Low incidence - blindness
In short, it's rather important to know what you're taking and a genuine medical reason for taking it (with the safety of doctor prescribing etc.) outweighs picking up a few random tablets for fun in a club / at home. |

When I was younger and a little more reckless, I took some but not for sexual purposes but to get a high (yes very stupid but I was young and stupid) I took three 50mg tablets. They served their purpose for what I wanted and didnt effect my dick until the next day and the buzz had worn off but I had the biggest headache ever and felt dreadful.
My advice is take them with caution and stay very hydrated while its in your system. |

I think he meant lethal as in the headaches for some people can be very strong not that they kill - however taken with underlying conditions or with the wrong combination of other medication and it could lead to fatal consequences which is why it is important to get them from a GP or other reliable source that checks your medical suitability to take them. |

I (he) did some time ago, went a bit silly tbh.
50mg viagra,15mg dapoxetine,half of a diet pill and 400mg of ibuprofen for the head ache, also eye drops to stop the redness. Not going to lie I was a bit of a fuck machine at that point but had a very different outlook on life at that point, don't ask. Would I do it now? No chance.
