It sounds like you are taking this all very seriously.
Its not like a driving theory test there are no rules that you have to do or not do.
Each couples dynamics and kinks will vary slightly, even if they have rules they will not apply them ridgedly each and every time.
Do what works for you and don't be defined by what others say, that is just their own view on the kink they follow it is not the rule book for hotwifing or what ever label you wish to attach.

Personally the idea of anyone "belonging" to another in the way you suggest sounds very outdated to me, and totally belies the concept that a "Hot Wife" is in control.
