A (male) here I have been known on few occasions to go out to few 24hr petrol stations ass dressed up in slutty latex with my stockings and suspenders with my thigh high boots on aswell its great fun seing the look on the cashiers face as i step out my car and walk over to then under the forcort lights  |

I am not a lady i am afraid but have worn uder my male clothes to interview people and also to parties and weddings. Such thrill to do it especially if someone else knows how u are dressed |

Not naughty as it was on a social meet but mrs Berrichonne went to the toilet and some how pissed on her stocking belt which was a old fashioned big one and had to take it off bless her.
I think she may have pissed whilst doing a handstand in the restaurant toilet!!!!

I wore some beautiful stockings and suspenders under a suit to a wedding with an ex once. She was wearing one of my 6 strap suspender belts under her vintage style dress with beautiful fully fashioned nylon stockings I’d bought for her. |

How lovely .... I simply cannot remember the last time I saw a lady, elegantly dressed in Fully Fashioned stockings out and about, they are so very rarely seen any more ..... except maybe when I check my seams are straight in a mirror!!

I used to wear stockings and suspenders daily...they were part of my clothing day to day...worn them to funerals, weddings, hospitals, work, meetings....never thought anything of it tbh.

There is 2 good occasions that spring to mind
1st one paula wore garter belt with metal clasps and seamed stockings on a flight to gran canaria and got pulled both times with metal detection and had to pull her skirt up to show security guard what she was wearing he blused a little 
2nd time she wore for work under her trousers as I dared her to and same thing happened she got stopped by security guard with metal detector and explained she was wearing stockings and suspender  |

I used to wear them quite regularly for work especially in the summer when tights would be too hot and yes, that included taking job interviews.
Regardless of what hosiery I had on, I’d never wear skirts or dresses to work that would be short enough to risk showing anything off anyway.

I have worn them to collage, to a Dr's appointment, to work, even a night out with a group of friends.
The scariest time must have been when wearing them to work, I came off the bike and you could clearly see the white fishnets through the tear in my leathers. |

On one occasion, my former wife arrived to pick me up late one night from outside the military club where I worked - as I opened the passenger door, the interior light came on to reveal she was wearing just a rugby shirt with black stockings and sussies...
....the two fairly senior officers I'd been chatting to whilst waiting for her both got an eyeful - and I got very knowing looks from them the following day! |

Before lockdown we went for a weekend in Dublin, Miss Sub wore a short black dress, stockings and one of her leather wrist restraints out to dinner. At the table she pulled her dress up so that her stocking tops could be seen. We were very well looked after by two male waiters. Loved seeing them turned on by her. |

It would be interesting if the manufacturers or shops selling stockings could provide data of which sex buys what percentage of stockings sold, maybe I’d be wrong but it would not surprise me if more men bought more stockings to wear themselves than the number sold for the woman to wear herself. |

I wear stockings and suspenders a lot and love flashing Logan and any other person looking. I've worn stockings and suspenders under a pair of 60 dernier tights and got out to fill my car at Morrisons petrol station. The tights were pulled up high and tight so they became semi see through . As I stood at the screen to pay there was a girl standing behind me so I grabbed the front of the tights and pulled hard in them so she could definitely see what I was wearing underneath . She gave me a smile as I walked back to my car |

I've met a certain much younger guy from here alone without hubby several times. He always insists i have stockings/, suspenders etc on with only a long coat over the top. So when we meet up he knows exactly what's on and not lol and it's all for him, and the control i guess it gives him knowing this. Especially when i leave knowing if it's a hotel meet in walking back out after being really fucked |

Former girlfriend used to wear them whenever we went out, she knew I liked them. Wore to the cinema (lots of leg stroking), restaurants (foot play under the table), weddings, funerals, the pub, her mums for sunday lunch. But most daring place (in her opinion) was on a flight to Spain. Noticed her chatting to one of the cabin crew, and when departing aircraft said "hope you have a goodtime". Girlfriend giggled...lol. Think she may have said something about it. |

This question is a bit odd in the fact that it assumes that wearing stockings is a naughty act and that some how some places would find it unacceptable. I have had partners who wore stockings purely because they were their underwear. Because of this there wasnt anywhere they felt wearing them would be considered naughty....

I tend to wear them a lot, I love nice lingerie as does my hubby. Not too worried if I give a flash whilst wearing them and have a couple of tight dresses where you can see the suspenders. I also have a skirt which in certain light can be quite see through, I genuinely didn’t know that until hubby told me, I still wear stockings and suspenders under it though. Always on a meet as they make me feel sexy, very rarely wear knickers though. |

We are a bit older than some on here, so Dee for example always used to wear them for work in the late 80’s, not sure that’s a common thing to do these days. |

Sadly I think you are right. There are definately fewer ladies wearing dresses and skirts these days .. and certainly less wearing stockings than in the 80s. I remember well the amazing range of hosiery they used to sell in Dept stores ... even in those days they stocked proper Fully Fashioned Stockings ... remember the gorgeous Aristoc Harmony stockings??
I note that even Marks & Spencer no longer sell stockings (only Hold Ups) ... very sad!!

I think it's getting very rare, the 1990s hold ups were new and worn by many but they lose their stick before the nylon is worn out so they aren't sustainable or trustworthy and aren't common. But also 'dress standards' have dropped- bare legs are normal at formal dos where as when i looks at group photos from black tie dinners and weddings in the 90s you don't see anyone with bare legs and you'd be guaranteed stocking top sightings.
But does them becoming niche make them a bit more like swingers' uniform? We love the idea of other couples noticing us when out because of an accidental flash of stockingtop or a suspender bump under a tight dress. |
