Personally I feel that there may be underlying issues with PR and at times I was proud and humbled by how 99% of forumites dealt with his posts.

Having had to spend time doing my garden or cleaning the car instead of being able to use the forums I now avoid saying much on any of his threads.
How he is still on the site is a mystery to me as it is clearly used to fuel his fantasies and I do worry at which point they stop becoming fantasies.
His previous comments regarding trans people are very telling of his thoughts but you are right, the way some have given him the benefit of doubt has been good to see initially.
