I train because I love it. Gym is like a church for me and my partner. He has to be fit for his job and that goes hand in hand with my training habits.
An Olympic barbell, some Razorstorm squat leggings and very very loud heavy metal is my motivation. |

I train because it makes me feel good both physically and mentally. For me first thing in the morning hitting the gym sets me up for the day ahead, this year has been difficult but hopefully I can get back to my routine soon. |

"I train triathlon for the love if it but train all fitness like gym etc for my job "
I am missing the gym so much so my hubby set one up for me at home with weights, cross trainer, hiit vibration plate, multigym, abs trainer and lots of other things but I love to train with people. That's what I miss. |

I train for me. Hoping I can get into the gym tomorrow and wheelchair basketball is back in January (lockdowns permitting). I'd like to re-start my 5/10k pushes but the weather is a bit pants at the moment for it |

I train because I want to maintain a basic level of fitness. I'm very lucky with my build and I've never been really unfit, I can jog up and down stairs easily enough. However, it's a hard sell persuading myself to go out on the bike on a wet and cold day. |

I wished you could bottle motivation as I could do with several |

Mine is usually to help prepare me in winter/ sustain me during the season for my sport.
Sometimes it's to help with injury prevention or to loose some weight after a lazy week.
I am never motivated to start training regimes, but once I get into them, I get obsessed haha |

Motivation is great for top performance but you can’t reply on it, you need inner strength. Think of it like a pension or brushing your teeth instead , you just do it , you know you need to and the consequences of not doing it are dire |

I don’t really have a motivation, I love training so it’s something I look forward to.
If your struggling, consistency it good go at the same time so it becomes a habit and find something you love doing. |

"I’ve got a 2XU wetsuit that seems to have shrunk over lockdown .
So I’m very motivated at the moment in the pool rather than the gym with all those hot sweaty people."
Who doesn’t like getting hot and sweaty? |

I am training because I like the results you get from it, like having a 6pack and the good feeling you get from the workouts. I like to push myself harder every year, both with my training and diet, fitness is my passion |

I'll be honest, lots of things get me motivated to hit the gym. I've gotten 3 different injuries to my knees and I've been going hard still. But yea sometimes rejection from woman or sometimes just wanting to protect my progress. Example I've lost a stone so far during December and I'm on a very low carb high protein diet and I'm not going to give into the carbs I'm craving right now lol |

my pictures might not show it but I have actaully slimmed down a lot this year (lost almost two stone!). I'm hoping to tone up more this year, which I'm doing mostly for my own health. I want to keep my body going as long as possible. |

I’ve trained on and off for many years; I tend to stick at it more if it’s for a reason, i.e. to compliment a sport. I don’t particularly enjoy it, I just endure it for the results.
Haven’t trained since the first lockdown in March, though. |
