NYE plans this year?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I usually work it but as I’ve been furloughed since March ( I work in a night club ) , I shall be spending it with my beloved support bubble , my sister who leaves a few doors away from me,
Bubbly and smoked salmon are on the menu. Might try to source some oysters too |

No plans. I'm torn between wanting to make an effort, get glammed up & have a posh dinner and bubbly etc, and thinking sod it all & just spending the evening in pyjamas & eating junk food & drinking mugs of tea.

Just us and our kids for some tier 4 fun, so I’m sure we will eat, drink and be merry. Probably play a few games and put some music on. The kids are teenagers and will probably drink more than us whilst mourning their social life.
Normally we would go to a party with friends and the kids would either come with us or go clubbing. On the plus side we should be feeling a bit brighter on New Year’s Day.

Tier 2 for us... getting glammed up and out for food and drinks with our bubbles.... so long as we’re still tied 2!! X |

Normally NYE is a massive celebration in the UK. It's the busiest night of the year for Pubs and Clubs. There's also massive firework displays. Of course, this year is different. |

After dropping P off for her nightshift on a stroke ward (like the previous 4 NYE) I shall be stuffing my face with some nice food, drinking lots of tea while watching tv and perving on here. May pop into the Midlands chatroom as some Forumites are planning a takeover at 9pm. |

This year will be be very quiet at home. But looking forward to seeing the back of 2020.
2021 the year of hope where things will slowly get better x
Wishing you all a happy and filth 2021 |

NYE has always been a shit night anyway to be fair. Going to clubs the last few years has much improved it and to be honest if we weren’t doing that we probably wouldn’t bother with anything anyway. |

"Il be having a party ( covid friendly of course) well it is NY after all"
I used to always go to Boston for NY eve parties. Shame the couple have now moved this year and that covid has stopped anyone else having one. |

"Was hoping to get home to Scotland but alas not so home alone for me and probably be tucked up in bed by midnight."
Probably be spent sleeping as working the next morning
Would love to be able to bring you a nice hot chocolate, light some candles and have a nice cuddle to warm us up.. then as the clock strikes 12... Hmmm aha |
