I respect your opinion, but i will admit that to me its the only way to meet people here, or if people are willing for coffee chat first, which in some cases is more of the right thing to do. (especially to single ladies. but this is my opinion and I am open for corrections) |

Just my preference, not wrong or right, i just feel people who know each other are less likely to be let downs in that scenario |

wow.. only 25% of males turn up. i was getting so many emails from single guys requesting to attend, i guess if i invited 25% i would have got 125% in return |

If you think all of this is bad. I organised an ORGY for Sat nite past.It was well advertised, invitations were sent out...... and NO ONE turned up!!!!

We had two couples not turn up once but they texted. One because a daughter went into labour and the other was an ambulance man on call.
They were not related but it was kinda funny. |

To have just one couple not show up to a party is very very good going as have known others who have parties and only a quarter of the people who were invited turn up if there lucky
So I would say you did well
