To be honest there are some pretty horrible people on here.
Luckily the good folks outweigh the bad but the levels of arrogance/plain nastiness is staggering. |

I think that as with every section of society, you get all sorts but on here they can hide behind their screen and will probably act braver than they ever would if they were face to face with you.
Sorry to hear you've had a nasty experience, report them to the monitor, block them ad move on to the nice people.
Being honest though, the sort of person I am, I usually want retribution! Lol! |

Whilst there are without doubt some nasty folk on here there are also plenty of overly sensitive souls as well.
This site is nothing more than a snap shot of life in general. The rudeness of some on here is no different to that of the average driver, the average person in the street, the average bad neighbour etc etc etc.
Most of us can easily deal with all of that on a day to day basis so maybe a little more "manning up and ignoring rude people" is required, just a thought  |

i get nasty messages all the time from guys i dont want to meet, they think because its a sex site your supposed to meet anyone and everyone, im never rude if i dont want to meet someone i always send a polite thanks but no thanks message back.....some of the rplys i get back are shocking 
But all that says to me is i made the right choice in not meeting them  |

i think this is very sad as i know you both to be polite and lovely people.
we have exchanged messages recently and i just wish we were closer as your the type of people i love to meet.
please do not let this get you down.
i had one couple talk to me on another site for ages ,exchange numbers,view cam and arrange a meet then tell me im too short when i get to the door.
some people are just not worth worrying about.
I know your good people and thats all that matters.

1 guy i was chatting to and was on the verge of arranging a meet ...said to me "oh before i meet u i wont shag u if u have slept wiv ....." and he used a not very nice term for an asian person...i asked him wot on earth was that to do with anything ? his reply " u live by bradford u must have done" i was disgusted at his attitude towards another human being...... |

as much of an arse he may be showing such prejudice, to do that is showing the same prejudice don't you think, there could be any reason why he has a shitty attitude, we all have our ideals and his seem a little warped compared to others, but that's his thing.

I like Gez am only going off face value, what has been said already before you posted just now.
I have no idea what he said but going off what has been said so far I don't see any real reason why he should be named and shamed and booted off the site, there could be any manner of reason why he has that shitty attitude.
I have been on the end of racist attacks also, yes white people can be racially abused, my then partner was walking down the road we lived carrying our 12 month old child, about 15 different race to us males threw large stones at her for being white.
it's a tad worse than a bad attitude via message don't you think?.
point is, he is entitled to his views, now if you think he was abusive and is totally uncalled for then allow the mods to see the message and let them decide, but Gez's post was a tad over the top to me.

im sorry you were treated that way in the past there is no space for any sort of racism in my world........ and i dont want to fall out or upset anyone in here, not the reason we are here, but my last words on it are...........it wasnt a bad attitude infact it was more than one txt....... and was racist....... all i ask from ppl is treat ppl as you want to be treated, and if you are going to be judgmental on ppl you havent met, have the guts to stand up to you own convictions......... but then again these type of ppl tend to be extremely shallow from the onset........ ty again everyone. im back and fighting now whhich was what i needed....... heres to all you lovely ppl out there.......and sod the rest xxxxxxxxx |

There are a lot on here then that should be booted for upsetting people with their views, jeez there's an argument every week, lol.
Still, what you show is prejudice Gez, as what has been said here is not near enough to make such a judgement that you have made, not looking to argue but it's true, prejudice comes in many forms, no prejudice is good.
For all we know the guy might have been beaten regular by his mothers partner that happened to be the type he is now prejudice against, then again he could just simply be an ill informed ignorant piece of shit, but we don't know for sure do we?.
Like I said, if the message was actually abusive and disrespectful and not just a comment of ill nature then the OP should allow the mods to see the message and allow them to decide.

sort of know where your coming from shagarooney but i,m not saying boot him for having those views, although im sure there is somthing in terms about been racist, what im saying is boot him for upsetting other members with them, had a pm from op telling me exactly what was said and how she felt and theres no need for it, this site has a lot of profiles from people saying dont want to meet asian/black/white guys etc, to me that isnt racist or offensive its personal choice, but what this guy said and how he made op feel was nasty |

The problem we have here is indicative of the society that has grown up over the last 12 years! Even nasty bastards have rights... He is perfectly entitled to aire his views and we mustn't "punish" him because it is his right to feel that way.
Well sorry, that is wrong! We as a society have every right to penalise those who break our rules, whether they be social rules or legal ones. That is how we regulate our society and that is what is missing now! I for one am fed up with people making excuses for those who have extreme views.

The car scratch is a ridiculous example,
my comment was towards the ban him etc, there are very few words here to form a realistic view of the guy, hence prejudice, and yes thank you I do know what it means.
I also stated if it was done via message here to allow mods to see it, if he was abusive then they can decide to let him go, but he is (like it or not) entitled to his views, how he expresses them is a different story. |
