For make up, I use youtube as guide.
Dresses, wigs and make up I buy them online.

When I started dressing there was very little resource to help me achieve what I was looking to do, basically look as feminine as possible, also to buy wigs, breast forms, makeup and clothes. Now it’s all available to you, from buying online, rather than having to go to a shop and guess your dress size etc..to great YouTube videos on how to put on your makeup.
If you’re serious about crossdressing it’s easier than ever, so use those resources and experiment with your look. Hopefully one day we will see you at one of the venues looking great
Good luck |

Use YouTube for makeup tutorials, some really good stuff out there. Buy clothes to suit your age and shape and develop your own style, you will evolve over time.
I've never used one but i would suggest a dressing service to get you started, i wasnt aware of them when i started. There are loads around and you will get some great pics and it will help your confidence. After that its down to practice x |

Ebay made it posaible for me years ago. Also find your right sizes. I used to buy stuff, try it on, take it back to a different store and say the misses changed her mind if anyone asked |

I went to a good few beauty salons for all beauty tips and make overs
Not every salon is tv friendly but i found a, good six who were extremely helpful. I also used debenhams, boots and john Lewis stores for make overs and help. I also took deportment classes. It really all depends on how far you want to take things |

Really suggest going to a makeover place and let them show you how good you can look, you can play with ideas easier, most have a range of clothes and wigs so you can try different looks without shelling out. Once you have settled on "you" then go and buy. |
