I heard a sex therapist talk about the cramp issue on the radio one day, she said that people when enjoying the sex can forget to breath enough and that the lack of Oxegen can cause the cramps! Seemed logical to me, I get them on the soles of my feet during sex  |

Sounds plausible. overextension of muscles also accounts for cramps, and some people tense up like a coiled spring before they fire off.
@op aftershocks for my better half and rubber band legs for me...
