So I'm finding it frustrating on here (I know it's not kink focused) because people read my profile than message to say they want to tie me up.
Are there many guys and girls on here who like a woman in control?

I am a switch and absolutely love submitting to a Domme! I think a lot of swingers (especially men) really don't know about bdsm kink. A case of ignorance and just wanting to get their dicks wet I believe. |

Absolutely. I have no objection to people having room to grow. But worry about people blagging because they are horny and agreeing to stuff they don't understand so I'm cautious.
I though it may be interesting to see for whom it's a focus.
With switching do you find more interest of here for you as a Dom or sub? |

I enjoy being Dominated, but it's rare to find a genuinely Dominant female, especially on fab. Lots of ladies into the tie and tease element but not so much the psychological and punishment aspect. |

I know what you mean the wider bdsm element is often missing. People's expectation tends to be tie and tease, facesitting and maybe some pegging.
T. I guess thought with things like impact and cp we spend a long time learning the skills and a small fortune on toys so it's going to be less common. |

There definitely are sub men on here. We have been messaged on our couple profile.
More of the women on here seem to be looking for a Dom so switches tend to develop that more on here.

On the Fetish scene I met quite a few Dom people both male and female. Those who knew what to do and some beginners who went to the clubs to learn more about it. That’s where I’d look personally, the unfortunate thing is, the best site isn’t really that reactive to meets like this site. Often too far away as well, if you do find a connection.
I think a female Dom, will certainly get a lot of interest from both sexes on here though |

There are certainly both dominants and submissives out there on here and you only have to look at threads like this one to see that.
Women tend to be a lot more subtle about it though - partly out of protection against the inevitable influx of messages offering to dominate or submit that will follow if they're more overt.
I've actually always found it better when the D/s side comes out naturally as part of the getting to know someone process anyway, rather than (in my instance) going "looking" for a dominant - partly because my submissive side isn't the only thing on the buffet table of my sexuality, and partly because I prefer it to come to the fore naturally and instinctively as a dialogue progresses.
I think there's also a danger on a site like this that there are people on both sides of the D/s coin who think it's simply a case of the stereotyped "whips and chains" thing and can be stepped into at the flick of a switch which couldn't be further from the truth. |

I'm on that site and agree with your assessment. I've been active on the fet scene for a long time but currently it seems really male Dom heavy to me.

Absolutely the switch only works with some people and it takes conversation and trust to get there I agree.
I'm explicit about it because I have no desire for non kink based play and it is certainly not something that everyone wants. That still leaves the it's not something everyone wants with everyone.
I don't want to roleplay D/s I want to find a D/s dynamic so I absolutely appreciate what you are saying |
