Your profile (good or bad) is what a lot of people will base their initial impressions on. The more effort and personality you put into it the better the response you'll get. What you've done is base it far too much on what other people supposedly think and want. |

I feel your pain mate.
I've given up messaging 1st. Despite always being respectful and polite. I rarely get a reply.
Rather wait patiently for a wink or message so I know they want to chat. Doesn't really bother me though tbh.  |

So I've always wondered about that bit ...
How often do people think upon reading that sort of statement " I better not message that profile... I don't shower that often" ??? 
Or even how many profiles states that they're not too bothered about personal hygiene (theirs and the possible applicants ???
