Always bearded... my 5 oclock shadow shows up at 10am, so its just easier to keep a trimmed beard.

Smooth. I once met a Tgirl who forgot to mention she'd got a full on ZZ Top size beard. In drab mode, it was probably very distinguishing, but in glam mode it didn't half hurt her look.
