I would say the stimulation has to be stopped before cumming for sure. If timed right (for me!) stopping at the right time and hands off will have me eventually cumming but with much less intensity and far less satisfaction, just feels incomplete and frustrating. Great for long term teasing.
Of course, that mess won’t clear itself up! |

In my brief and unsuccessful time as Domme it was one of the few things I did very well with a sub.
I never really understood the pleasure of it, but I didn't need to, as long as it gave my sub what he needed. |

The theory is after a full orgasm men take a hormone hit and loose some desire that doesn’t happen with a ruin. Ruin gives a physical release but keeps the hormone balance and the desire and want stoked. Perfect for subs. |

As far as we go, edging is to taking right to the brink and stopping, retreating and going again if you like, sometimes over and over again.
A ruined orgasm for us is letting it go just over that brink, where he can’t possibly stop the cum but rather than properly cumming it’s just leaks/oozes out. What's your opinion on a spurting / shooting ruined orgasm? Is that still classed as a ruin, and if so would you call it a partial ruin?
There seems to be some level of subjectivity on it to be honest. For me an orgasm is only partially ruined if there's any stimulation at all after I start to cum, but even when it's done 'perfectly', it's not always just a constantly stream and does spurt quite often. It definitely feels very different depending on how it goes though. |

True, this happens too, not always a steady stream, sometimes spurts out a little bit like an apparent ejaculation but he insists it feels totally different than cumming. Still leaves him feeling very frustrated  He says it’s a ruin, I’m less satisfied with it as it only feels partial due to the spurt, feels like I’ve gone one stroke too far maybe x |
