Wanted advice on getting my first butt plug

I currently have a butt plg in. I've been wearing it all day. I feel extremely horny but D has been teasing me all day too.
I started off with a small rubber plug. But have moved onto a heavy silver one. It looks much prettier and feels smooth. 
I would advice being fully lubed and prepped before inserting your butt plug.

It's a good idea to lie on your back or side with your knees up and insert that way at first, depending on size might be a good idea to not over lube as small ones will travel and put a dent in things  |

My advice would be to pick up on of the cheap “anal training” kits you can find on sex shops. They have various sizes, but tend to be long and thin so easier to use.
Otherwise I would suggest going into a shop and seeing them in person before making a purchase.
You also need to appreciate that you are unlikely going to go from 0 to wearing it 24*7 in a matter of days.
You can search and find lots of good advice on duration, selecfion etc.
I think bondara have some “info” sections, but it may be another online retailer.

My advice would be that when you think you’ve used enough lube, then double it again
My first plug was a Doc Johnson Silicone Medium Plug. I think my eyes were bigger than my ass but I was able to take it eventually with enough practice, and it felt great when I did. I’d like to try metal for my next toy |

I have a couple of different ones and find the metal ones my favroute, they feel so nice when inserted and enough weight to know it's there.
The silicone ones are good for beginning with as they don't look as intimidating.
Plenty of lube and go slow. |

Got myself a small butt plug a few years ago now. After a while was wanting something slightly bigger, so decided to get the next size up - which would have been medium. However, "large" was on sale, so opted for that one. It didn't fit though 
So my advice would be start small, advance to medium. Do not skip medium!
And the battery operated ones are awesome x |

I’ve found my partners have enjoyed glass plugs the most, I imagine for the same reasons people have suggested metal ones.
There are some great glass toys on Bondara and Love Honey, with the former selling a particularly good glass anal wand with a taper on one end and increasing sized beads on the other, it does not vibrate, a wand in the traditional sense. I’ve found it to be very good for those new and wanting to explore anal play.
