Mmf is definitely easier to arrange, as invites from couples are plentiful, and you only need to find the female attractive, and get on with the bloke.

I prefer doing it with a guy I know already though, if its a single woman. There's a much better dynamic I think if both guys are on the same page and have a bit of banter (non sexual)
