Face Pics on Public, Friends or Private?

What do you do and why?
We have some lovely face pics that we keep on private and it always seems a shame not to share, but what about the risk of them being shared?
Does FAB get trawled by google? How safe am I being (or not) by putting a face pic as my profile picture...thoughts anyone? |

I'll share pics in private bit it's more to do with my level of comfort, because a swingers site is taboo and a lot of ppl (even if they do the same thing) don't like it out their on the public it will be very unfortunate for me if friends of mine up here (especially female friends) saw me on a site like this.
I see some single guys have their face shown and kudos to them tbh. I'm not that comfortable as yet tbh. If it weren't for the taboo nature of this site I would definitely show face pics.
Just my 2 cents for me personally. |

I have face pics in friends only. I’m very particular about who gets on my friends list. I would of had a good conversation and decided I would be up for meeting before they are added to my friends. I don’t really use private pics I don’t see the point of them |

Our face pics are all private now. So many random friend requests who are clearly pic hunters. Strangely since we swapped all our pics into either public/private, that's almost stopped!

I pop mine up every now and again as public, but prefer to keep them as friends only or private. Its not that I care what those around me think and am not ashamed for people to know I swing, but my job would be gone if my employers found out due to the environment I work in. |

Go to your privacy settings and make sure you've selected not to show on search engines.
I'd say don't have any photos in public that you don't want shared.
We have ours in private and the only people who get to see them are the people we're going to meet |

There are many reasons. We just share a dace pic privately when we think we can build some kind of connection for a potential meet.
It all depends of what you think. Some people try to avoid of being recognised.
It is not about a google scanning, it is more about the risk that some people who you know from your work, family or just day to day meets, might be also her.
Not always you want them to know about your dark side.
You never know who is here.
If you do not bother about your privacy, you can share.
Please also remember that time to time someone might write an article about swingers. You do not want your face on the first page. Or maybe you want. I don’t.
Information on the bottom of your profile that “you do not allow any institution for xyz...” is bullshit and has nothing with a legal. People add it to the profile without checking that it is worthless.

In answer to your question. We had a large amount of picture on our profile and most were including face pictures only a few weeks go. We were contacted by a single guy from fab that said he was a subscriber to our profile on another site. As we only have the fab account we post to we asked for the name of the site and profile name to check it out. We found that someone had stolen all of our pictures and was making money by posting them on a pay per veiw site without our concent. They also had them on two other social media sites to advertise the pay per veiw one so this ment all our pictures were open to anyone to see. It took a couple of weeks before the sites took action to remove them even after reporting them to the police. We have also had pictures appear on other porn sites and even had them copied and put on a couple of dating sites so be ver careful of what you upload as it can bite you back with little or no chance of being able to do anything about it. It is against the law but its classed as civil law so the police do not get involved so to try and persue you have to take someone to court yourself that's if you ever find out who in fact stole them in the first place so be warned. |

Face pics should be only either friends or private given the nature of the site it's your way to protect your privacy and share with those who you finally get to trust and have met given amount of picture collectors stealing these and creating accounts elsewhere without any knowledge |

Previously when I was on here I had them public. It certainly bother me that I might be recognised. Until I was! That did cause me a few problems. I had the opinion we were 'all in this together' and everyone would be respectful of privacy. I'm not worried that my pictures would be stolen 
But this time around I have put any face to private, although yesterday I did consider opening them up, but have since decided against it. |

We would love to show our face pictures in public, but as people have said earlier, there is a taboo around this lifestyle.
Its a shame, because it would help people find everyone find who they are attracted too much more easily. |

My face has been visible since the day I joined. My important people know I am on here and I'm not ashamed about it. Plus, faces are my important bit when it comes to attraction so I would assume the same for most others. Now I just leave it out so anyone wanting to ask about the local social, are asking a person and not a body part  |

I have mine in my private folder. I only share them when I feel comfortable with who I'm chatting to |

Face is on friends only.
You would be surprised by how many friends and acquaintances I recognise on here.
I've not made it known to them that I have seen them in here.
It's there business and I respect their privacy.
Unsure that some of them would do the same for me. |

I dont mind showing part of my face in my public pics but full face pics are kept for my friends pics only.I need my privacy for personal reasons but when I do chat or want to meet someone I dont mind sending them a full face pic if they do |
