Question to all swingers
Jump to: Newest in thread
There's an assumption here- I know swingers who are quite vanilla except for the fact that they swing. And some of your vanilla friends may be very kinky in the bedroom without you knowing about it.
That's why sites like fab are helpful in connecting people with similar interests. |

I've found it a mistake to tell anyone at all.
The first (and only) male friend I told expected me to sleep with him as I would 'obviously sleep with anyone', and was insulted when I said that wasn't how it worked.
The first (and only) female friend I told got all jittery when I said, come and have lunch with my partner, apparently thinking he was about to jump her at any moment...
My sister was shocked and thinks me 'abnormal', even though she hasn't had sex with her husband in many years, which is just as abnormal as far as I'm concerned.
The next gorgeous man I hooked up with in the natural course of events (i.e. not from here) was totally flummoxed. I offered a little preliminary information about the lifestyle, but he wasn't ready to take it on board. I think it excited him while simultaneously vaguely disappointing him...
I am now resolved never to mention it again to anyone not met at a club (if we ever all get back to them) or on Fab

I’ve not told anyone, but I think a couple suspect lol. I’m sure one couple I know swing from time to time, but circumstances mean I REALLY can’t speak to them about it, which is a shame |

Just one close friend, and thats because we had a few sessions with him some years back. We stopped that though it is too much and getting in the way of our friendship. All good now and he knows but we don't make a song and dance out of our activities with him. |

"I'm curious how many of your vanilla friends know about this side of you?"
What about you OP.
Are you comfortable telling your friends that you are a bi-curious swinger?
Are your friends ready for that kind of personal information?? |

We have one set of our closest friends that we told right at the beginning. They have been following our progress with interest over the last few years. And they are so so close to trying the lifestyle out but just won't take the plunge |

No one knows about what I get up to on here. Its frustrating as I'd like to sometimes talk about something I've been up to but as far as everyone who knows me is concerned I'm quiet, shy and Captain Sensible. There is not one of my friends who I think would approve or understand my choices. The world is still a very judgemental place for women who enjoy sex |

That would be too good a secret to keep! |

I tell the full story to a handful of friends.
A few more know a slightly watered down version.
Most know that I’m not monogamous and tend to date more than one person at a time.
My daughter knows nothing
