Yes, that's how I'd see it too. I'm not sure I'd want to go to a 'sex party' but a party among friends who like to be naked, play, with the option of some fun, casual, social sex is a nice way to spend an evening. |

Yeah, I don't freeze up at agreed meets or anything but parties where sex is expected aren't for me. A party with a good social space and the opportunity for sex is different |

We have held 3 bi parties ranging from 12 to 25 couples and a few singles at our house,
Have to say they were all mad nights but it's the people that make a great party we just pro ide a place for people to loose all their inhibitions. And underwear, the amount of undies left behind is always amusing .

We went to a party like that except before we went they told us it was play optional, when we got there it wasn't. We left.
On another occasion we went to an invite only "social". Beforehand we were assured that there were no expectations or pressure but when we got there it was made pretty clear that I (f) was expected to partake in "dares". I was horribly uncomfortable and again we left.

Love parties. The social side is as important as the fun side. Pre- lockdown I attended many parties in the London/Herts/Essex area. Have now moved to the South West so need to build a new network ready for the end of Covid-19. Miss all my friends and will go back to see them when this is all over. |

Have to agree with you on this one, I much prefer the club scene, less pressure and if you don't fancy it you can have a few drinks try again or call it a night with no pressure to get involved and live to fab another day

Been to a few parties as a couple with my old fwb and was made to feel like we was obliged to join in, like its expected of you, obviously if your a close group of people then it's all OK and if your a party regular
but if your a new comer then it's very intimidating,
We gave it a couple of tries just to make sure it wasn't a one off but same issue
felt like a more comfortable atmosphere in club and you don't feel rude to host if you leave early in a club lol |

I also feel pressure at parties and I prefer the clubs.
At parties there tends to be less people and it stands out more if you are not getting involved.
Also I find it it feels more awkward when I say "no thank you". It might partially be my projection of the situation but I definitely prefer the club scene to the party scene, for those reasons.
At a club I can quite happily sit and chat while everybody else is doing whatever they want to do, at a party I just don't feel as comfortable doing that. |

OP you describe Roman orgy type parties do they still exist ?
Some parties expect you to be like a performing seal for the Voyeurs.
Great if all into that of course but puts a lot of pressure on participants to perform.

It's been a while since j went to one. I also along with a couple I knew well hosted a few
I never saw anh expectation of having to have sex with a uone and people used to talk about ever day things.
