One for all you stocking enthusiasts out there
When did you get your first glimpse of a stocking top?
I first discovered them via Benny Hill, but my first real sighting was at a school Christmas concert when the girls of the upper sixth did the time warp on the school stage. I’ve never been the same since! |

I absolutely love stocking and holdups, but there seems to be hardly any ladies wearing them these days. I remember my first sitting was a lady on the train to London who was wearing sheer black stockings, not sure if holdups or with a suspender belt |

I must be very lucky as my wife wears them virtually all the time when we go out.
Having said that, it is like switching a button on in her head, whenever she wears them she wants sex, they obviously make her feel really sexy. I must have been about 11. I went to the local community centre Christmas show, the last act was a group of 18 to 20 something dancing the can can.

It was a couple of films ... American werewolf in London oddly enough - the nurse bent over a little too far and I was like  blimey. Nine & a half weeks made me weak at the knees  (obviously!) and the first time I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show I was mesmerised by Tim Curry in them too  .

It was over 50 years ago but I've never forgotten it.My mate's girlfriend sat opposite me and I saw her stocking tops.What a thrill that was!
When I first met my son's mother she always wore stockings with a suspender belt. I've no idea if she still does as we split up years ago but I was a very lucky boy in those days!

But we now wear scrubs. Not as easy to wear And they get too hot.

Like others in the thread, my introduction to stockings and suspenders was the lingerie section of the Littlewoods or Kays catalogue as a child.
I cross dressed as a teenager, and it left a lasting impression on me, as I've recently started cross dressing again. I love wearing holdups, but don't currently have a suspender belt. |

I used to work in the head office of a large financial institution and a fair few young women wore stockings and suspenders. Regularly spotted stocking tops when the wrap around dresses & skirts opened a bit, otherwise it was looking for the telltale suspender lumps.

Plenty of stockings pics in my gallery.
I discovered stockings and suspenders when I was heavily into 50s rock and roll music and fashion at the tender age of 14 back in the 80s.

Fascinating. My best friend’s Mum wore them and when she came in from work used to roll them down to her ankles. My folks had friends who would come around and the women always appeared very glamorous.
