My mother wore high heels all the time until her late 40s... she even wore them around the house.
I was always convinced I couldn’t wear them and wore chunky heels until I joined an airline 5 years ago and HAD to wear heels some of the time.
I don’t work there anymore so I wear trainers most of the time but I love my heels and love wearing them... just not all the time. They’re just not practical! |

I'll never understand how airlines get away with making women wear heels (and red lipstick with certain ones) to work |

For me if I’m out in the day it’s 2”heels - very sensible. On an evening out it’s 4” heels - sexy and elegant, and tolerable ... and if it’s a night in definitely 5” heels - but then I don’t intend on walking too far, but they look as sexy as hell!!

They’ve scrapped the makeup now, to be fair... and the heels were no longer mandatory- at least not where I was. But they look nice with the rest of the uniform... |
