Not sure if you are on the club scene but clubs are great ways to socialise. No need to play at all . You could meet lovely people and talk first then you will meet couples etc who you get to know and like then take it from there x |

Proactively contact other people for prospective frienships and shortlist and meet those that fill your criteria. Once you've done that. Arrange a social meet with all your shortlist, especially those who express a preference and interest in group sex.

Build up a group of trusted FB who you meet and have verified then suggest to them what your looking for - trust me its better way |

Have a look around for some parties.... ones where there is a strong social feel to them, you'll know what I mean when you read how they are advertised. A great way to meet a few couples at a time, chat, see if you click and either go for it then or exchange details to hook-up again.
I don't know what it is about the stranger thing which is putting you off that route.............. you may find it is great fun in the right surroundings, but yes it's down to you.
Have you tried a club on a couples only night. You don't need to jump straight into a group session, you can chat and soacialise and see where the mood takes you. You don't need to do anything you don't want to or are not ready to do. No one will think anything less of you if you don't play with anyone at a club, you can go just to test the water. |

A club local to me has a social night every thursday, 7-10, free entry, if you want to stay and play after 10 then you can and pay a resonable fee. why not check out ones local'ish to you to see if they do something similar. that way if you decide its not for you, you can just leave |
