Can't tell you how many times I've struck up chat with couples/singles on here been going well then ZERO/NARDA/NOTHING from one message to the next like just no reply. Anyone else experience this or can shine some light on it.

Yes it happens to us. Usually it comes to an end when it becomes obvious we aren't going to engage in prolonged "sexy chat".

People get bored. Or get better offers. Or lose interest.

Many reasons.

Sometimes people are just after wank material, or pic collectors, or just get too familiar and pushy, or they send a face pic and the conversation ends. Just move on x

I find that men generally want to steer conversation to sex related things, or flirting.

Whilst I an happy to chat, the above will usually result in me losing interest rapidly.

We have found in the past that the first one or two messages are ok but subsequent ones become just one or two words, and which point things feel a bit one sided and we just stop responding.

village life, closest main town inverness

You can expect conversations to peter out eventually, just like in real life lol

That doesn't mean there will be another topic of conversation along later if you get on well enough.

.

Sometimes you do get a conversation stopper though,

and you just cannot think of anything to say to what they've just said

I will always reply to a (polite) message and my chats are invariably initiated by the other person. But when you start getting back "That's good", "Okay", "Thanks" or the dreaded "Mmmmmmmm", I find it somewhat difficult to keep a chat going. A chat should be just that - a conversation

With an inability to meet at the moment.. After a while there is nothing to talk about as there is no meet to aim for.. Obvs it's easier to chat with people you already know which is why the mojority of established accounts are still on here..

Not much point to the site at the moment as people's hands are tied and not in a good way. May as well shelve it until this Flu has blown over

All the time, it happens to everyone - it's because this site is overloaded and people are talking to multiple people.

Don't take it personally, it's just the nature of the beast due to the numbers involved.

Yes happens to me a lot. Was chatting to a lady a few months ago,we seemed to be getting on really well, she sent a friend's request, which of course I accepted. I ended up helping her through a bit of an emotional crisis, she seemed happy as long as I was paying her compliments, then all of a sudden we were no longer friends, sent her a message to see why, just deleted with no reply. Think she was just an attention seeker & got bored with me. Did feel a bit deflated for a while. But decided not to waste my time on people who throw my friendly caring nature back in my face.
