In your opinion. Considering the brain is the most powerful sex organ phone sex can be quite hot and intense. Of course its not for everyone and you need to factor in a certain amount ability in terms of imaginative/creative thought. Plus chemistry goes a long way too. Phone and Cam sex can be very erotic under certain circumstances. Due to work either one of us use to regularly travel to Europe for 2/3 weeks at any given time ... during this period both of us use Skype chats for naughty fun and many a times we do three way chats either with other couples or singles. |

Like most things on here OP the "canned" answer of some will, some won't applies - it won't be for everyone, and for some it will depend on the connection they have with the other person.
As others have said though sexting/phone sex/cam sex with the right person can be incredibly intense and very "real" but it takes both people to be on the same wavelength and for it to happen naturally and without being "forced" - when the latter happens it can be quite the turn off.
There's actually quite a skill to being able to turn someone on with words, it's not about being graphic and blatant but finding ways of describing that conjure images and scenes in your mind. |
