I dont really see much love for the slender guys out there, just the buff dudes and bears. So who likes a slender guy?
For some of us its pretty damn hard to feel attractive when we see women flocking to the hairy daddy bears and the smooth chiseled beach boys. I got an ectomorph body, means i burn off my food intake insanely fast, in order to put on any weight ad maintain it i need to eat 7 meals a day ranging up to 4000 calories, and muscle doesnt come easy for us unlike those who are mesomorphic body types. As you can imagine the food bill to maintain that costs a fortune.
Often i hear ppl say "oh youre so lucky you can eat and eat and not gain any weight"... no... just no. |

If you check out S, you'll see I have a definite appreciation for slimmer guys. I don't really have a type, but I do generally prefer my men on the slim side or slim-but-buff, it would seem. |

Hard to tell from pics. S is 6ft 4, so pics can be deceiving. I'm not too bothered about strength. I'm ridiculously strong, especially in the upper body, hence why I lift |

Same... most ppl underestimate how strong i am, they just see a skinny guy and assume im a weakling.. I mean i gotta be strong for my build if wanna lift a girl into the standing suspended position |

OP, I certainly understand where you're coming from. I'm the same with food intake and especially with some injuries that doctors have prohibited myself in actually lifting weights.... The struggle is unreal |

I'd never assume someone's strength from their physical appearance because my experience tells me there's little correlation. S is very strong too. Most people, however, are unsurprised to find out I'm strong/I lift because I'm a bigger woman. I've always been strong but more so since needing the wheelchair. Upper body strength has been extremely helpful to have |

A work buddy of mine when i was at maccys years ago made a comment when i left the kitchen carrying one of the buns toasters.. theyre easily about 20-25kg.. turned to one of the other crew members and said "fair play he can lift".. he tried to take it off me thinking o couldnt carry it used to work at a sofa factory too, was lifting massive 3 seaters to head height with just one other guy, did that for 6 hours a day lol |

If I had a penny for every time people said the same sentence to me, I'd be a billionaire.
Also, it's apparently ok for people to constantly remark on the fact that you're skinny and that you should eat more and so on. |

" Ha tell me about it.. if they understand human physiology and the different variations theyd understand that guys like us arent skinny out of choice.. as i said.. we need 4000 caloroes a day to gain weight and maintain.. more so if youre hitting the gym to reach anywhere over 10 stone.. thats easily £150 a month on just food alone nevermind the supplements that cost around £120 a month.. all that for just you

S gets those comments, yes. He's 6ft 4 and about 74kg. I get the opposite comments about losing weight. Does it cancel out when ones is slim and the other fat?!
But in a nutshell, I quite like slim guys |

No, it does not. It's impolite either way, to point out when a body deviates from what society deems appropriate. As, you know, everyone has mirrors, and we're all very aware of our own bodies and how they look

My comment about cancelling out was tongue in cheek, hopefully denoted by the little Smileyface. I still like slim guys |

My adopted step mother is the same.. 2 below average meals a day and still gains weight. Breakfast and not even much for dinner. Then again though women tend to have slower metabolisms cos.. ya know.. they got the buns in the oven |

But I have female friends who are absolutely tiny and literally eat nothing but junk! I once had a housemate who had a serious aversion to fruit and veg, ate nothing but pasta, crisps and pastries and yet was a size 4! Meanwhile I'm over here praying my daily diet of vegetables, quorn and nuts will get me to at least average sized |

Yeah, my mother is the same. She eats like a bird, and yet she gains weight from air alone, apparently. Methabolism is fun (not really, the bastard can go f itself) |

My lovely husband is extremely snuggly and comfy to cuddle. I fall asleep quite happily on his shoulder |

My hubby is very thin and it makes me sick that he can eat what he likes and not put a pound on. His weight has never changed since he left school.
He hates it being so thin and finds most women look for more muscular types. He is a good looking guy IMO with a great personality but never has any luck on a night out. He hates it when he gets comments such as 'you need to put weight on' 'you need a good meal' or the like |

Thats pretty shit tbh... its ironic that so many women have asked to be accepted by society for being large and curvy yet so many of them wouldnt accept a man for being slender and having a below average build. Pure hypocrisy... i dont buy the excuse "dont shame me for what im not attracted to" yet men have been shamed for years before body positivity became a thing for women, and these days now you have 'BBW culture'.. theres even BHM, big handsome men, yet nothing about slender guys.. granted theres not a great deal of interest in "petite women".. but i can guarantee they dont get shunted to the side lines than the majority of slender men |

C, hitting your 30s means sweet FA. S is mid 30s and same weight since he was about 21 and if he takes after his dad (late 50s), he'll never change. He's just born to be slim....... |

Yeah...I was kinda hoping for that, but my genes said no. Baldness tho, that's what they're focusing on. |
