Seems to be very temporary but there are poeple who claim through regularly use they have made permanent games. But it looks like a lot of work and definitely a chance of injury.
I have used them for solo play in the past and they can be quite fun.

On the main part any gains are temporary, and rely on the use of cockrings, which I like to use anyway.
