Had an interesting message today.
The “gent” in question believes his mother is a member of fab and reached out because he thought Lizzie looked like her.
Many questions around that but I think Lizzie could do with some reassurance that she doesn’t look old enough to have a 33 year old son.
So what’s the weirdest mistaken identity situation you’ve been in? |

no she doesn't look remotely old enough. I suspect that its a conversation opener that the person sends to lots of people.
We've had people message saying they've been talking to us on another site, it becomes obvious that they know full well we haven't, especially when they can't say what we were chatting about |

Someone once claimed he used to work with me, and went on and on about it - but then asked me “how are X and X and X” listing loads of names I didn’t know. So I don’t know if he mistook me for someone else or thought he was being clever. |

Think people try their luck
I've had people message saying we've chatted before when I know we haven't, one ever tried to convince me we had met! Think I'd remember love. |

"Odd if I found someone I thought was my mother I sure wouldn't be trying to make contact with them!
Or even looking for them!
Glad it wasn’t just us thinking that. "
Absolutely! There won't just be us that think it |

Very strange. But I think based on messages I’ve had from others since, that some men think that they can - persuade me, let’s say - to meet them if they can convince me they know who I am and can tell people I’m here.
Not that that explains the weird situation you’ve had, that’s just bizarre! |

Its just another scam like the 2not spoken in ages" one to make you reply people who send this sort are decisive and best avoided. |
