Well we could either be positive and pull together to get through this pandemic... after all, humanity survived the plague, Spainish flu... and other nasties.... and just be patient that things will get back to “normal”.
Or.....
We can be negative, give up and go with the idea that we will all be living in our own bubble for the rest of our lives till we die.
Know what I’d rather do, otherwise I will be taking my life! |

I would imagine all the swinging venues may close but I reckon it will be like the 30s with speak Easys
By special invitation only
Never been to a swingers club |

swinging will always be here, but i think clubs etc will not survive, same way pubs etc are struggling, its going to be a very different world, this virus isnt going anywhere, we will just have to learn to live with it |

"Genuinely interested in people's thoughts on the future of this lifestyle given the current situation we all find ourselves in "
This virus isn't the end of the world, it will run its course and things will return to normal... not any sort of "new normal" but propper normal.

Clubs will survive anything that makes money will always be there, stop looking at the downside. All this bullshit will be gone soon and the system will find another way to screw us, plan for tomorrow and don't let the bastards grind you down. |

I think the next 6 - 12 months are going to be a tough time for swinger clubs and spa’s as this is where a lot of people go especially single guys like myself. We are likely to lose some adult venues along the way I believe we have lost two already that I have seen on the forums.I hope we don’t lose any more but it will be tough for some to survive unless there is major help from the government. What does the future hold for swinging well I think there may be a increase in house parties and dogging and possibly hotel events. The problem I have encountered with some hotel events pre Covid19 is you are told there will be 3-4 guys and a £40 contribution when you turn up there can be 8-12 guys and that’s when the dynamic changes from a swinging experience to a paid for sex event. As I keep on hearing these are unprecedented times we are living in. |

I do think after all this and it's safe to do so anyone with the capital to do so in the swing world will just open up new clubs. Business goes on the wheels keep on turning etc

All epidemics and pandemics burn out in time, there is good reason to think that this will be over within 12months regardless of govt. measures and talk of vaccines. You can expect singing to bounce back then (no pun intended) |
