So. I’m divorced A long time. Meet up for casual sex here. All good.

Now there is a girl at work...who is around my age but is in a senior position. I THINK she might like me but I’m not good at reading signs!! I also don’t think it would be professional of me to ask her out as she is senior. Should I let her ask me out? Will she if she fancies me?

What signs should I look for lady’s if she is into me?

Thanks in advance if I get any replies

I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot barge pole. Too many ways it can go wrong. At work.

I think you regret things you don't do far more than things you try. X ask her out.

She will go out of her way to talk to you if she's interested in you . That's what I do , I will start a conversation with that person. Good luck. She may just fancy you too !!

Some companies have policies about this kind of situation. It might be worth checking otherwise you both could end up with some very unwelcome attention.

There are plenty of successful romances that have started at work, this shouldn't put you off. Just remember to be really respectful, both in the way you approach her and in how you respond if she says no, the last thing you want is a sexual harassment complaint.

Man up and just talk to her.

Have friendly conversation with her.

About what she likes to do in her spare time and just general. NON WORK RELATED chit chat.

You will soon get to see if there is any chemistry between you

Good luck xxxxx

A box at end of your bed

I have always stayed clear of women I work with or at my work place. That is manly because of if it does work out or if the relationship turns nasty it makes your working environment so much more difficult.

The truth is none of us know her, we can't possibly tell you her intention. The only way you will find out is by talking to her, turn the conversation to leisure time, ask her what she does in the evening and at weekends. What is it that she does that makes you think she might be interested?

What signals is she sending you ? If it’s not frowned upon by the company ask her out for a coffee or a walk. She can only say yes or no. Good luck x

Man up..it’s not really about that I’m not shy and I do talk to her but she is my superior. I suppose I’m just sure of the signals she sends. Is she just being kind or is she interested? It’s a tough call. Ask her out, is that what’s she is waiting for? Or wait for her to ask me out and risk looking less of a man. If she says no it’s awkward...

thanks anyway I’m just clutching! X

This is what I’m afraid of.

It’s a conundrum, ask her be a man risk everything, wait for her to ask? Will a woman ask? My age group?

Thanks for advise

Exactly, I could be getting signals mixed up! What signals should I be looking for that are obviously above work related being nice etc!

I’m not bothered about company policy tbh as there a married couple there that met there. I’m just worried about it being awkward if I’ve miss read signals..

"Some companies have policies about this kind of situation. It might be worth checking otherwise you both could end up with some very unwelcome attention. "

Yes, which is why if you are interested OP, as she is your superior, you would have to do the asking out, otherwise it could be seen as her using her authority over you to extract sexual favours.

No need to play games , just be direct! Say or send a message that you might be wrong but feeling that there is a spark between you two and would love to take her out if feelings are mutual. If not, say sorry to reading the signs incorrectly.

Confidence is the winner and good luck!

Also don’t let the work limits you. If you start dating then you can discuss your options incase there are any policies. Personal happiness always more important than stupid work policies in my opinion

Ask her out she might say no. She might be attached.

At the end of the day you’re both adults. What’s the worst that can happen? If you’re respectful in your approach and she says no then no harm done. Life’s too short! Xx
