I have been on fab's 7 weeks, I can only get together with my partner every other week, although we have have fun in that time, i feel at the moment Wine is the best cure for nerves. But it can end in a situation where you can't remember the end of the evening. If anyone can tell me other wise to sort this out, i would be grateful

how about having just one or two glasses of wine and not downing the whole bottle?

Just go for it, most people are a bit nervous so you're not alone!

I Just remember that the other person will be just as nervous and that helps calm me down a bit

Drinking too much will only de-sensitise those bits that really need to be kept sensitive for play

My daughter is disabled and i use a spray called "Rescue Remedy" on her when she panics. I am going to give that a try and my wonderful Partner has now got me on low or no Alcohol wine. Which is working well, so it just goes to show that it is mind over matter !!

I get nervous before every meet, even with guys who I know well. It's par for the course. On every occasion though, I feel relaxed just after a few minutes and that's without the need for wine !

Well I always get the nerves and I have been swinging for some 8 years or so. The day I lose the nerves is the day I will pack it in. No ambition to be a Hardened Swinger... So nerves are good!

Wine is OK but one glass tops as people will think you can only play when you are pissed and word gets around. either that or they will think you are only doing it for your partner. Both are clearly wrong but impressions are everything in Swinging.

Just go for it, breathe deep, burst a bra strap and enjoy yourself ..Its supposed to be fun

nerves are part of the fun. I'm teetotal and not comfortable with anyone I meet drinking to be honest. it freaks me slightly because alcohol changes people too much.
