Meeting people you have blocked

On a couple of occasions, on holiday and at a party, we have met people from this website that we have blocked or been blocked by. Very embarrassing!
But with one couple, in Gran Canaria, it turned into an S&M ritual based on mutual lust but mutual dislike..."I hate your company, fuck me"
Has anyone else had similar experiences? |

Ive blocked very few people - and always for very good reasons. I definitely wouldn’t want physical contact of any kind with them. |

I've met people in clubs, and when I've gone to look up their profiles I realised that I had previously blocked them.
Luckily I always use the private note facility so when I look back I can always see the reason why I had. |

I wouldn’t mind meeting 2 members that have blocked me again just to explain myself face to face as sometimes things look worse in text than when said face to face and you can expand on your answer.Off course if they still feel I should be blocked then it’s a case of respecting their decision and moving on. |

Interesting thoughts.... Yes in the flesh some folk can be a pleasant surprise, messages can be so easily misread, photos just bad shots. On the other hand as a single guy I've blocked many that said no thanks or just deleted my messages. I know many of these might show interest when my partner and I make a new couples profile in the near future but would I really want to meet them ??. There's a high risk they'll meet just to get to my Mrs, been there several times... |

The reasons for blocking someone could be an entirely new thread!
Like most social media the criteria for rejecting someone tend to be more severe than in real life. We have been blocked for merely disagreeing with someone's opinion on the Forum, whereas in a normal face to face conversation this wouldn't be grounds for divorce!
And in the non -Swingers world I have often had sex with guys I didn't particularly like simply because I was horny.   |

There was one fella I had blocked a few years ago. He really used to rile me on the forums. I bumped into him at a party and he was THE nicest man you could wish to meet.
There’s a lot blocked because they have put derogatory status’ on or are just plain nasty streaks/cringe in the forums - they shall remain blocked, if I meet them in person and they are nice I shall rethink it.
As nicecouple said though. It is very embarrassing! |

Most people here seem to be totally missing the point. It's not about refusing to meet people because you've blocked them already, that's obvious. So saying "NO I NEVA WOOD" is just dumb.
It's about talking to people in clubs, enjoying their company and then swapping fab names, and finding out they had previously blocked them.
We've been the blocked couple before. Turned out we were friends with a guy they'd fallen out with so wanted to make sure there was no way for him to contact them via us. |

There is no way I would play in an S&M scenario with someone I actively disliked. Completely the wrong mindset. |

yes i was talking to a guy at a club that i had blocked and he had blocked me also..we however unblocked each other after the meet and did each other a veri. We met up a few times at the clubs after that. I have also met a guy that i had blocked and then unblocked. We got on great. |

Ok was going to a party one guy piss us off messages us did not block because we were going to the same event should have blocked better, to apologise for acting in haste then hesitating trust your gut.  |

6/12 months mayb a few yrs later they randomly msg u on a NEW PROFILE

I disagree as you've no chuffing idea if you *have* notes or not unless you go into them. Very poorly implemented. |

Thats the thing on here and even if they did tell me their username I most likely still wouldn't remember them |
