Lets be honest for once!! Looks are the very first thing that attracts you to the opposite sex!
If your in a club/bar do you go up to the fat sweaty minger and sit n chat for an hour to see what kind of personallity she has?

For me, how much fun a person will be is as important, in fact probably more important, than how attractive they are.
I have had meets with people who would be described as gorgeous but they have had no personality or spirit, and it had been wholly unsatisfying.
Conversely, I have played with people who state they are no oil painting, and they have been the most amazing fun I have ever had.
While looks play a part in attraction, I find more sexual arousal from the persons character. Don't get me wrong, I can look at someone and think 'wow, I want them!', but I can also hear someone speak and be aroused, I can pick up on sometimes vibe and be aroused.
I would hate to let looks alone dictate how I played. You can't swap dirty ideas with an image, you can't get A txt from a face, you can't have the naughtiest thing you ever heard whispered into your ear by a face that's more worried if their make up has smudged!

It's certainly not a cse of a shags a shag, it's not just about a round peg in a round hole.
But no it's not just about looks, it's as much about personality.
I have to like someone and if that's not there then no amount of good looks is gonna help. |

Its a bit of both, yes there needs to be that initial physical attraction, but there has to be personality to back it up. Also there's people that on first meeting them I would have said no as I wasn't attracted to, but would play with now after getting to know them through chatting on here and meeting them at social. |

I think 'mostly' for me it's initially physical attraction but there have also been times on this site when a buddies posts have made me take notice enough to contact them, find they are not at all my 'type' but go on to have really fun meets. So no, it's not the be all and end all  |

Looks have never bothered me, however there is always going to be people we find unattractive. I like people with nice faces they dont have to be good looking but friendly, approachable.
Its definetly the minute they open their mouths thats the deal breaker. There are some unattracte and attractive people that are arseholes and vise versa |

Looks do matter, but what is deemed good looking varies.from person to person. For me looks is what attracts me but it'll never be enough for me to play. I met a guy who was the spitting image of Daniel Craig. I nearly creamed my knickers when I saw him striding towards me...then he opened his mouth...and sounded like Joe Pasqualle. 
It was if I were drenched in cold water, instant turn off. We went for a coffee and he spoke about his mother the whole meet. What a bore.
I now insist on a telephone call before meeting. Any one that sounds like he could be in East Enders or enhales helium doesn't pass go! |

It depends.....with someone I've never met - then yes it has to be about looks 99% of the time, but I have to say over the years I've met some incredibly physically attractive guys but there hasn't been an iota of sexual attraction, so things have gone no further. I suppose I'd never start out to meet and play with someone I didn't find physically attractive but I have met people, at socials, parties etc and got talking to them and the sexual chemistry has been incredible. I don't think I'd shag someone just because they looked good - there has to be more, but I would shag someone who wasn't good looking if the sexual attraction was there. Obviously good looking and sexually attractive is the icing on the cake |

Its down to peoples ability to make choices...like it or not the better looking you are you more choosy you can be, if you want.
If you went to buy a car, saw two the same, was was really shabby and untidy, rusty bodywork and covered in mud and the other was gleaming, immaculate..you would pick that one to test drive, only then would you find out the first one was mechanically sound, the second was a lemon.
Personality is the thing for us..that said there are extremes, if someone was witty warm funny, articulate but looked like qasimodo then they would still get a blank.
If they were absolutely beautiful/handsome but a total boring poser who couldnt string a sentence together, they would get a blank too |
