I've seen many profiles, especially women and couples, and noticed that the quality of the photos could be much better.
What do you normally use for photos/videos and what do you think could be improved?

I think mine are rubbish and generally use my phone but I'm terrible at taking a decent photo without looking stupid. |

I think it's surprisingly very very hard to take sexy photos.
Often they come out just looking like a readers wives contribution in the 80s.
Sexy photos often utilise minimal lighting, and people take photos on phones which rail against bad light.
Or they get in too close, taking pictures that could be used in a biology lesson.
I'd love some better photos for our profile, we'd like to remain private, so possibly masked, but every photo we try to take always looks cringey and too try-hard.
I have seen some good photos on here, but they are the rarity.

Mine ok, it's a true representation of me, that's the most important thing.
But I am in awe of some photos on here, some are amazing, even go as afar as saying artistic.

My two oldest photos are actually video stills, so though I'm not overly happy with their quality, there's little I can do about them...
....as for the rest, apart from my profile pic, the others were all taken by husbands while I played with their wives...
....so yes, I'm perfectly happy with them! |

When I display mine I think they show me as I am, which is rather the point of having them on here.

Couldnt agree more. Also, Privacy can be a limiting factor sometimes and that's why a more sophisticated photoshot could be required for more expressions without showing someone's face. |

We normally use the torch on one phone and use the other to take the photos. Moving the lighting around etc for better angles. The problem is we start to take photos and then get too turned on and start fucking and forget about taking any more photos. We’re not very dedicated to this photo stuff lol.

I just took some Delete so many before I get a decent one but its quite fun if you have a bit of time. I just use the timer on my phone like most people and Im pretty happy with most of them |

We have this problem, but have a solution!
1. Use some camera lighting and video on tripods. That way you can take stills from video.
2. Find someone on fab who wants to take photos. We’d love to find this as they could take some good angles. Even better they could direct. The downside is we’d probably get them to join in before any images are taken
Most of our photos are from a phone. Either stills or a frame from a video. We do find that proper lighting is way more important than the camera. A couple lighting tripods from Amazon makes a lot of difference. Although it takes some getting used to how bright they are! |

Use either camera but mostly mobile. We take plenty of pics outdoors so easier just to carry mobile. |

All mine are taken on a mobile. I do like my collection of pics. I also enjoy taking pics on my camera of other people, with their consent . I have done one photo shoot with a couple and they put the pics on fab. Was very humbled x |

We have certainly taken a fair few that will never be uploaded.
Sometimes in the heat of the moment what seems like it might make a hot photo doesn’t when you look back at it, it promptly gets deleted.
Managed to get some ok ones and with some positive reaction on here for example has helped with self confidence and opened us up to doing more with/on camera |

There are some I'm not happy with and some I am (Mrs)
I am quite critical about my body so I find it difficult to be really happy about my pictures but Mr has a good eye for pics so he knows which look good and uploads
I personally am not keen on the up close pictures although I believe we have a couple, I find that nice body shots and underwear pics are nicer or action shots
We tend to have a photo session every month to keep our pic fresh and the more we do the more confident I (Mrs) feels

I could probably take some better ones if I took the time to setup my proper camera but normally my photos are secondary to whatever I’m doing at the time and I’m not a bit busy having fun doing that
So all in all, I think they’re okay for what they are but they’re not going to win any awards lol |

Mine are OK. I get told I should smile more though. As all my pics are selfies, I find it hard to force a smile. I just look super awkward.
I update them regularly as I like my pics represent how I currently look. |

We're very happy with the photos we have on our profile but we would love to have more taken in different locations and have more time+space to take different photos along with other people to either take the photos or be in them with us. With teenage kids at home it's not easy to find the time and space to get good results.
Most of the recent photos of both of us are taken with a phone on a tripod using either a timer or remote, the ones of just K are mostly hand held from a phone, the older ones are mostly taken with a fairly decent camera.
We don't do much editing of our photos either, if we do edit it's because there's clutter in the background or the lighting was bad. We both absolutely love amateur photos when they are very real and honest about the people in them, we don't like over processed and heavily edited pictures, many of the readers wives style of photos are the best! |

Not really that happy with mine, too much of the same thing, but I have been using the site to motivate

I'm happy enough with mine,I use my phone. Sometimes it can be difficult to take a good selfie. Most of my pics are just fluke as in phone camera was kind.

Most photos can be improved by using an indirect light source, a bit more thought on composition and what's going on in the background. Rule of thirds is an easy rule to remember and often makes photos way better! |

Yes - I’m happy with my photos - I’m just not happy that I’m bigger at the moment than I am in my photos!
I’ve had many offers of professional photo shoots and turned them down. I like my photos to look like the ‘real’ me as I actually meet people and would hate them to be disappointed.
I’ve seen far too many people with amazing pictures who are unrecognisable when you meet them in real life! |

Another way is to get snapshot from video capture but the sharpness/resolution is not as good. |

My usual method is using an intervalometer - you set how often a picture is taken and how many. Pop a chair or something where you're going to stand so you can focus on it then off you go, first 2 will be you moving the chair out of the way but then take 30 or so over 3 minutes and see what you get. Means you can pose a little easier without having to walk to the camera each time. Guess a time lapse mode could do the same thing? |

My photos are all taken using my phone, they're not perfect, but then neither am i. They are completely untouched, no filters, photoshop ect, no point in changing your pics as they won't look like you anymore. I keep my pics friends only as i don't like the idea of public pics x |
