It occurs to us, with swinging being more popular that most might think, that friends or people you meet on holiday etc might be swingers or open to it but we all stay very respectful in normal life you’d never know.
Has anyone any experience or advice about who you, excuse the phrase, probe the issue without giving too much away?
Is it a matter of being honest about ones own interest and recommend the lifestyle? Fine with strangers, likely a risky idea with friends.

Hmm. We've been approached by people we've met on holiday. It's risky. We don't swing on holiday anyway, that's our private time and it can be very awkward turning people down who are in the same resort or hotel. However, nothing ventured as they say and if you're prepared to risk potential awkwardness just invite people back to your room for a "drink" and bring the subject up when they get there.
Friends are a different matter. We don't have any that we'd want to have sex with but if we did we might go out for a drink and say something like "we listened to an interesting pod cast about swinging recently" and take it from there. Again I think it depends on how much you're prepared to risk. |

Friends are off the table for us - swinging is our secret and we'll always keep it that way.
On holiday we're pretty sure people would take us to be vanilla and that's the way we like it. We have though been to a swingers club while on holiday and bumped into people from the same hotel - we didn't fancy them so it went nowhere, and we avoided them for the rest of the holiday in case they brought up the idea of playing together Who knows, maybe they were avoiding us, too. |
