I always clean with red hot soapy water after using and leave it to dry upside down...but today i took out the plastic bit that you screw the nozzle into and im absolutely appalled at myself for not doing it sooner! Absolutely minging! I cannot beleive ive been using it like that!
No more leaving it upside down so the water can collect in the lip bleugh...and on with dismantling it and drying out the inside with paper towels going forward!
So, how do you clean yours? |

I take mine apart after use ( mine just has one plastic tube and one bulb) and submerge in really hot water in the sink that has some anti bacterial hand wash in it and white vinegar. I use the stick part of a cotton wool bud to clean the tube - leave for about 20 mins and then wash through with very hot water and then leave to dry.
If I use it a lot I will boil it up in a saucepan with the anti bac wash and white vinegar for 5 mins. I buy a new one every 6 months |
