Yeah, we sometimes have a night away at a hotel. It’s nice not having any of the usual distractions we have at home. We pack a bag with lingerie and toys and have each others undivided attention. You can get some cheap deals if you shop around or book in advance.

. I'd say to anyone with kids to take the opportunity as often as possible even if the kids stay with relatives and you just stay home with a bottle of wine and a take away.
Once ours were teenagers I used to go with Mr N when he was away for work. We had some really good times and only found evidence of a party once when we got home  |
