Face pic?

Everyone pretty much requires a face pic on the first message, or nearby, and I am cool with that, so I make sure I enclose the most recent one.
99% of the people block or ignore me as soon as they see my pic.
I don't think I look like a monster not even like Richard Gere... A nice half way.
Maybe because my face pics are always in an elegant suit? Need to organise more naughty shoots?
Any suggestions welcome.

I'm exactly the same mate. I can even be chatting with someone for days, and getting on really great, but as soon as the mug is shown, either ignored, or mostly blocked. |

I always reply if someone takes the trouble to send a face pic.
However if it’s a dick pic and « what’s u up to » I just delete.
I don’t judge just on face pic but take the time to look at profile before thinking about if they interest me.
I had a guy message me yesterday - he had taken the time to compliment my pictures and wrote an interesting first message. I wrote back that I would keep him in mind and friend him and then he totally spoilt it with his reply back - full frontal nude and describing what he wanted to do to me. That was a waste of a possible chance for him as it was unsophisticated and crude. |

It must be really hard as a single guy
Some people are great and respond to all messages and some can’t be bothered and follow the ‘just delete button’ if they’re not interested.
And then you’ve got to factor in the mood of said people messaging.
I confess- sometimes I will do the first (message back to even the smallest hi) and sometimes we just get too many/ can’t be bothered and delete... it’s not fair for you. I get that. But it’s the truth.
Surely if they aren’t pleasing you with the way they respond via message then you’re definitely not going to be sexually compatible?
It’s taken me a while to accept (as it happens to couples too)- but just move on and get chatting with that lady/ couple who does like the way you approach them.
Whatever- stay smiley as it’s not worth letting it stress you or upset you further

Don’t take it personal, you don’t know them, they don’t know you. Just delete your message & block the profile or make a note so you don’t message them again in the future |

OP, are you making first contact with face pic? If that's the case then I suggest it's something else letting you down.
I get many first messages with a face pic, I then check out their profile before replying and too often just delete the message without a response. |

I’ve had this as well, someone I’d not normally be interested in, comes across as being more self aware than most. But then ruins it by then acting like all the rest and forgetting what made them and their approach unique and new.
Physical appearance will always be the first or final hurdle in getting to meet up. That’s why it’s easier in real life than being on a website and trying to get that connection and conversation going. |

We never ask for a face pic straight off the bat, as long as there is a attraction we see in some of there pics then that's a good start.
If the focus of conversation turns to potentially meeting up and they haven't already sent a face pic off there own back then we will always ask for one and reciprocate |

Don't take it personally as everyone has likes and dislikes and preferences. None of us can change who we are and u will find people with a mutual connection. Tbh if there was no attraction a mutual meet would be awkward. Hats off for being honest with your pics that's good. Not everyone does that |

95% see my face pic and don't reply, delete my message or even block me. It's quite the norm here, serious lack of basic manners and very fussy folk.... The positive effect though is those who are clearly happy and talk of meeting are a VERY pleasant surprise, makes me fall off my chair lol |

This just makes us feel bad. Sorry to everyone we block.
We just find It an easier way to manage this site and not come across profiles we arent interested in meeting. And yeah unfortunately your face might have been the mitigating factor and just not done it for us.

We ask for 'a face pic' often a guy will send six, which actually looks like six different guys! And then Niki will say no, based on the worst pic.
So if people ask for a face pic, send just one, but make it your best one! |
