"What even is that blue picture on the wall supposed to represent? It looks like a big red berry with god knows what!  "
Perhaps it's meant to represent the rising winter sun symbolising the dawn of a new day, or maybe it's simply a glacé cherry on top of a trifle. Who knows? Who cares?
I only stay in travelodge's because my tight fisted employer is too mean to pay for anything better. If I'm paying for an hotel myself I prefer something a little more upmarket.
At least most of them are clean and the beds are comfortable, although the general decor in many of them leaves something to be desired and is in need of updating.
The Scottish ones do tend to be better appointed though.   |

I used to use Travelodge a lot before Covid. Always found them to be in the main, cheap and cheerful and clean. No I'm not employed by them! Mr  |

God knows, I used to think it was an out of focus Xmas tree decoration but thats a bit random.. |
