Haha brilliant, I've heard some people talk about it in different ways in the past.

It’s been a while since I started. Back in 1940 I thought we ought to do something to stabilise the pound so I pegged it to the dollar. It was a Bretton Woods I really got pegging however.
I had a good run but by 1971 I was exhausted so went back to free floating |

Well...
I was with an old girlfriend. We were putting on fancy dress for a party. She was going as Pinocchio, wearing that long fake nose. I was going as Batman.
She got ready 1st and lay around waiting in bed. Then when I was putting on my Batman underpants in the bedroom, I slipped on a banana skin. My underpants tangled around my ankles. I fell towards her where she was sitting on the bed.

It was easy for us. On the first day of our holiday I said the wind is blowing up so you'd better start hammering hard.
