So I would like to ask the people behind the profiles without no verification, not even a photo-veri and been here for over a year. We have been here for 2 weeks and provided a photo-veri as soon as we could. Then had a couple of social meets to become properly verified.
So if you are genuinely not fake, what reason do you have for not being verified?

for me theres not much excuse to get verified either by meet or photo we can all do 1 of them within 12mths |

Verifications don't really prove much really other than a person with a user name exists. I wouldn't get too hung up on it |

I consider you're being a bit unfair to a lot of people.
The past 6 months have been tough for all the obvious reasons. People haven't been meeting at all, hence no Verifications.
Or in my case, in pre-Covid times, I was out of action due to medical issues for 10 months. That meant no meets at all, so zero Verifications in those months, though I did possess Veri's from previous years.
Thus, there can always be underlying considerations to be taken into account.

I am also referring to being photo verified. At the start we was naive to how many fake accounts there would be and got duped a couple of times before filtering out people that hadn't been verified (which includes just photo-verified).
It's not that hard at all to become photo verified no matter what the circumstance really |

has no photo veri... decided i could not be bothered to do one.... plus means trying to get a pic of the fella with us holding a bit of paper up twice (we have 2 accounts)...and tbh i just couldnt be bothered trying to sort it out.... but we have other veris  so no bother to me |

Seems you're lucky to get a meet veri so quickly.
For the majority (single guys), it's hard enough getting a reply to messages, and even harder to get a meet, even if a social.
There are plenty of fake profiles here who are photo/meet verified. And make who write fake verifications too.
I judge individuals on their reliance of interaction rather than whether they're verification or not. |

Maybe some people don't want to photo veri as they are not happy having a face or full length nude of them sent to whoever Fab admin are?
Maybe some people want to take their time with before meeting or have difficulty arranging meets.

Not trying to rub it in that weve had meets.
I just dont understand why for over a year you cant demonstrate you're not a fake by providing at least a photo veri if you cant get a meet veri.
Anyways, we cant recieve messages if you dont get verified. Just wondering if anyone had a genuine reason for not doing it at all

Everybody has their own reasons for not having veris. It’s not for you to try and berate them for choosing not to do something that you don’t like.
If it affects you that much then ignore them and move on.

We were talking to a young lady a couple of weeks ago who wasn't photo-verified. When I asked her why she said she didn't know anything about it. I told her how to do it and why it helps be taken seriously and she was verified within a few hours.
That the only legitimate reason I've come across for not doing it. |

It’s all down to personal choice I guess but my thoughts are:
I really don’t see why someone can’t get photo verified. The picture isn’t public so privacy isn’t the issue.
In the UK you aren’t able to meet but Skype, Zoom and Fab chat rooms provide verification opportunities.
I do fully understand why people might not publish verifications as we know only too well that our veris have been a source of prospects for others.
Back to personal choice, it doesn’t really matter to us as we never contact or reply to anyone who’s not verified.
Mind you it would be nice to find some way of stopping the army of single men pretending to be couples

Most here seems to have taken the OP the wrong way. It was just a curiosity question.
For us, we are the same as the OP. We don't believe it's hard to get at least photo verified. We're still new and haven't had any meets yet but it takes literally 2 mins to become photo verified.

Why do you think you are entitled to a "good reason" as to why people do things you don't approve of?
If it's such an issue for you then simply don't communicate with them and leave them to run their profile how they want to.

It doesn’t - photo verifications prove couples are couples and women are women. If someone’s had an account for a year and isn’t verified in some way they are highly likely a fake or fantasist / time waster |

Never claimed it was a big issue. Was just curious if there was a genuine reason or not.
We dont recieve messages now from people that arent photo or meet verified; dont have at least one public photo; also not a site supporter. So it isnt an issue at all anymore as we dont see them profiles.
When we first joined, we got duped by a guy pretending to be a girl, and a man pretending to be in a couple and from then on have become more savvy at spotting fakes. So thought it was a valid question to post.

That's a fair example and has been known plenty. You're always gonna get ones that can get around the photo veri somehow unless fab make you do it say 'every 6 months' or something like that.
I'd still say there's less chance of a photo verified profile being fake than not so |

Regarding your original post - I know someone on here who's been on the site for several years. He has no veris (pv or otherwise) and yet he's very much real and genuine. He's not bothered with the veris as usually not looking to meet and uses the site for the chatrooms only. Maybe there are others doing similar - just want to look at pics and interact in the forums and chatrooms. |

I'm dubious of accounts active for a year with no picture verification or meets.
I ask myself why they are still using the site after this time as they can't post on the forums.
Then I ask them.
I don't get a reply, but that's just them giving me a polite no.  |

Regarding your original post - I know someone on here who's been on the site for several years. He has no veris (pv or otherwise) and yet he's very much real and genuine. He's not bothered with the veris as usually not looking to meet and uses the site for the chatrooms only. I'm the same OP. My message restrictions are set so unless you're verified in one way or the other, you cannot message me.
Now, noone is saying being verified means you're not a time waster but, it does generally mean you're not fake.
Also, in this day and age, we all have a smart phone or laptop we can video chat one and therefore, get verified during lockdown wasn't exactly impossible.
No hate on those who aren't verified just, personal preference.  |

To be honest I’ve verified by photo but find it hard for couples and single ladies to trust that I am a genuine guy. I’ve spoken to a few ladies and couples on here that in my stupidity thought were genuine but just lead me on. Because of this I don’t have any veris and as such people see that and think your not genuine.....it’s a vicious circle |

I'm photo verified but, for complicated personal reasons, I choose not to show verifications. Yes, I'm quite sure there are some who will pass me by because I am not seen to be meet verified, but it doesn't bother me & certainly hasn't stopped me getting meets when I want them. I've met some great people on here, several who I consider good friends, they know I'm genuine.
A lot of veris I take with a pinch of salt anyway & fake profiles are usually quite easy to spot. |

The reason may be that it's their choice. It's not up to everyone else to dictate how they run their profiles. It doesn't necessarily make them fake. Some people choose not to meet certain people, ie, smokers, people over 50 or under 25 for example. Again, that's their choice, doesn't make them fake. Fab provides plenty of filters to avoid those who you don't want contact with, just apply yours accordingly, it's the simplest way to do things. |

Now, noone is saying being verified means you're not a time waster but, it does generally mean you're not fake.
Also, in this day and age, we all have a smart phone or laptop we can video chat one and therefore, get verified during lockdown wasn't exactly impossible.
No hate on those who aren't verified just, personal preference.

I didn't get photo veried for about 3 months why because I just couldn't be bothered to. No other reason. Doesn't mean I was fake. And there are plenty of photo veried accounts that aren't genuine as well. |

I'm photo-veried and need to get a webcam to chat but lots of folk say they dont trust cam verification anyway.
A couple of years ago, with a previous profile, I had two meets but neither woman was veried herself so they couldn't verify me. They both said 'why bother, I get meets anyway?' Now we're in lockdown so meets are out anyway |

I’ve never needed to photo verify hell as a single woman I think I got about 50 messages before I got round to putting any photos on. I don’t do Public nude or face photos so I’m not happy with them ‘out there’ . I’ve got meet veris - I don’t display them as what’s in them is irrelevant it’s the fact that I’ve been verified as genuine by meets that’s important.
Also the least reliable person I’ve ever met from here had the most veris. |

Im photo verified on here, but as im here to mainly chat to people or on the forums, and dont webcam, i doubt i'll end up receiving any verifications. Specially as the criteria says not to pnly include chat, but must be webcam / in person.
I have no issue with that, nor do the people i have been chatting to over the years! |

Because of this I don’t have any veris and as such people see that and think your not genuine.....it’s a vicious circle
