Its an interests list.... Do you carry out each of your interests with every meet? Maybe people tick safe sex because they are happy to play safe. It isn't a safe sex only box.

PrEP only prevents HIV.

You can tell most people in my GUM clinic are there for a reason and it’s not just a check up. You can tell the ones who are getting a check up as they look confident and comfortable. 90% look sheepish and embarrassed

In terms of HIV transmissions PrEP (which involves taking 1 pill every day) is safer than condom use. That’s science. That’s a proven fact. So you can have bareback sex with better odds than condom use if you take PrEP.

All other STIs can be transmitted through oral sex just as much as anal or vaginal.

PrEP is 1% safer, so your odds are pretty good with both. 98% efficiency for condoms FOR ALL STI’s and 99% for JUST HIV with PrEP. PrEP isn’t a wonder drug due to the fact you can catch a whole host of other untreatable things if you’re on PrEP and don’t use condoms.

You’re also wrong about transmission of sexual diseases through oral. The chances are there, but it’s far less likely than vaginal and far, far less likely than anal.
