The best and most successful products and brands are developed and targeted at specific appropriate niche segments of the market, if these segments are large enough, have a gap, and the products fit the needs better than others do.
If you want to escort, you could do this part or full time, in this country or abroad, and it would be ideal if you targeted your market as commercial marketers do with their brands and products.
I don't know what finances you'd need/want each year, nor what the rate is for an escort. Neither do I know what percentage of a client's payment would be taken by an agency, if this was used. I can imagine that a solo escort would benefit from an agency, until he had both established clients, as well as experience of how the market works. The downside would be loss of some of the client's money the agency would take.
Do I think there is a market? Absolutely! How big is it, I don't really know, but I do know that in this country alone there's a growing number of single people who could use companionship/sex. Some would potentially prefer a professional relationship, as it has boundaries, and there is full control, unlike many relationships. It's also an on-demand service, taken as and when required.
If you can target specific elements of the huge number of people out there who might benefit from an escort - obviously those who can afford it, being the only part you're interested in - then you're onto a good start.
Naked waiters etc, have offered a new take on escorting, albeit without the sex, I'm guessing. If you can imaginitively create something that people would want, that's not currently being tapped into, all the better.
Obviously you don't have to offer just one service either, so you could have hunky guy on my arm for the evening, no sex, naked cocktail waiter, perhaps a little foreplay etc, or just full on shag, and whatever else you could offer.
Niche products into smaller niche markets can take some selling, as you've got to find the punters etc. Whilst you may be an amazing escort - great looks, charm and sexual provider - still selling your services, if you're not a sales/marketing person, could be tough, so you'd need to get that fixed too.
The ideal market would be multi-millionaire ladies, who'd pay a (high) retainer, even when not doing anything for them, but this is likely to be a small market. The world is your oyster, so you don't have to provide escort services in the Cotswolds, if Zurich, or wherever else, would allow you to deliver a few hours of work a month, to pay your mortgage etc. Think it through - the right service, targeted at the right people, delivering something that isn't ideally being delivered right now: will be easier than a tough competitive market etc.

Thats not personal to you but I do remember a story about 2 guys that paid upfront to join an agency then got huffy and tried to get their money back when they did'nt get any offers
Well the pic they had of them in papers made it more than obvious why they did,nt,beer guts footie shirts and joggin bottoms is'nt what id expect at all if I wanted to pay for the delights of a male escort for the night
